Good product, not the most advanced syncing tv lights, but definitely the easiest to set up and the best looking

Works better than expected and quickly reflects the changing on screen colors, but the protruding camera can be a distraction.

This is a great buy. If you’ve wanted lights around your tv buy don’t want to spend $400 to do it, this is the thing for you. Set up is simple and app controlled. The camera can go on the top or bottom of your tv. Works best with 55’ or 65’. The brightness in the corners will fade since there won’t be any lights in those areas. Compared to the Hue products, these are much cheaper and work with all media. For the price it is a great buy.

This Govee TV light strip for the back of the TV absolutely enhances the TV viewing experience. There is a Govee Home App that controls the lights. I have my lights connected to Alexa,which will be offered on the App. Alexa can turn on and off the lights. I have a thin OLED TV,so installing the camera was a bit of a challenge. The camera has 3m sticky to either place the camera on the top or bottom of TV. The problem with the camera is it is made for TVs that have a wider width frame. Since my TV frame is thin on top I placed a small empty box,the box width does not have to exactly match the width of the camera adhesive ( you don’t want a heavy box hanging on back of TV).Secure the box to the wide part of the sticky tape on the camera while holding the camera on top of TV frame,(make sure it has a snug fit)there is a thin piece of tape on camera as well, which I placed on the top of my frame .The box should be tight against the back of the TV and hang at least 4 or 5 inches down in back of TV. I placed a piece of duct tape across the middle of the back of the box so that it pulls tight back when you place the duct tape on. Make sure duct tape is snug down on each side of the box onto the TV.Electrical tape did not stay put. This way of adapting the camera for your thin framed TV works. In the app you can have the TV scenes sync with your Govee lights. I put the settings on movie mode,video, and I tun the saturation off . Beautiful picture,easy on the eyes. The only reason for 4 stars is because of the camera not fitting with thin TVs. They should really have a spring adjustment feature on the camera or include an adapter to be used with. I used a small Twinkly light box that was inside my boxed Twinkly lights,so it is black. If you can’t find a box maybe your BestBut store might have a small box from the unpacking of displays.You can also used the orange squares included in your GoVee lights for calibration. Fold into a square tape well with duct tape,I am thinking it would work. You don’t need to place these orange squares on your TV screen because there is a calibration video on You Tube for the Govee light calibration. Calibration is done from the app. Once calibration is set you should not have to use again unless there is a power outage. Try to find videos on YouTube for this is you are having problems.

The lights were amazing, I had no issues to the installation process of my tv. My tv was a bit smaller but it still all fit in the back there. The app tied with the lights is also easy to use and have lots of settings for cool features. If you’re looking for something to enhance your viewing experience then these are the lights for you.

I was confused about calibration but muked through it not knowing what it wanted me to do. I must have did it correctly as this is fabulous in movies watching Dreamview. I’m kicking myself for not buying the package with the two side lights and trying to find out if I get them separately they’ll sink with the camera I got with this strip.

I've wanted these light strips ever since they were related. I finally got them and think they are the coolest thing ever! Super easy to set up and calibrate and they do a great job matching the colors on my TV screen. I'm super happy with my purchase!

Once these are setup it takes some patience to balance brightness and saturation in order to get the most accurate colors. Beware, the adhesive on this product is strong! I would advise NOT to place the orange calibration squares on your TV screen for that reason. Instead, I used https://youtu.be/6yQVnQctOVQ to calibrate the color. Integration with Alexa was a breeze and, overall, I'm satisfied with the results.

Absolutley love these LED's. I finally installed it on my 65" Samsung QLED TV and it works amazing. Set up was gairly simple, just follow instructions and your good to go! Makes movies and gaming so much more immersive!

Ive had these for over a year and they are very true to the color on the screen. The only issue would be that sometimes Bluetooth does not connect to app and you have to close and reopen the app for this to work. I have these synched uo with the Govee lightbars also and they pair well.
