Not that bright as the previous ones I had for a 65” TV Doesnt fully cover for a 86” TV

The lights are great.... For every color except orange or any type of skin color. The camera recognizes these colors as a very dark, bright Red. I've calibrated it over and over with no luck. It displays red constantly and is severely distracting. I've talked with GOVEE support and they've confirmed that this is a known problem with this unit.

The installation process is pretty straightforward, but the camera setup for the ambient light feature leaves much to be desired. The design is not well thought out, especially for thinner TVs. The instructions suggest mounting the camera on top of the TV, but the included mounting system lacks compatibility with modern slim TVs. The double-sided tape provided failed, causing the camera to fall. I had to purchase an aftermarket piece to mount the camera properly and ended up attaching it to the bottom of the TV instead. On a positive note, calibrating the camera was relatively easy, and the app connected without any issues. The lights themselves work great, but the poor design of the camera mounting system is a big drawback. I hope future designs address this issue.

The Govee DreamView TV Strip Lights deliver very good brightness, and the colors look vibrant once everything is set up. Camera calibration is simple and straightforward, and the app is easy to use, even for first-time users. When matching the colors on the screen, I’d rate the accuracy at about 80%, which still creates an immersive viewing experience. However, the adhesive quality is very poor. If your TV has any kind of texture on the back, the lights will not stick at all. In my case, I had to use a different type of adhesive to keep the strips in place. Another downside is that when the TV is turned off, the lights do not fully shut off. They remain on at a very low brightness level, which can be distracting since they stay on all the time unless you manually turn them off. Overall, the performance and features are solid, but the adhesive and power behavior could definitely be improved.

Adds an excellent experience to any show, game, movie and I highly recommend them to anyone who wants an elevated experience. The app offers updates and tons of customization options for the lights themselves. It’s easy to set up and the updates to the firmware are genuinely helpful.

The Govee TV lights are awesome. They’re bright, colorful, and make the whole TV setup feel way more immersive. Syncing with the screen is smooth, and the app gives tons of customization. For the price, they add a big upgrade to any entertainment room. Highly recommend!

I love these lights as it made my living room look more like a theater. The product was easy to set up with the app when following their instructions. Once set up, you get use to the camera that can be placed on the bottom or top of the TV. We have it on the bottom and it less noticeable. The lights are easy to install and they do have a very good sticker withiut any issues of the light strip falling off. With the app, its easy to control how you want the lights; you can either have them change with whats playing on thr TV or set them to a solid color. You can even control the brightness and other cool features. I do recommend for anyone looking to enhance their livingroom/bedroom TV view experience.

The Govee Dreamview TV Strip Lights completely transformed my living room setup! The installation was very straightforward — it took about 15 minutes to get everything lined up behind my 65” TV. Brightness levels are perfect, and the customization options through the Govee app make it super easy to fine-tune the colors and effects. I also love how well it works with Alexa for voice control. Not only do I love these lights but my family do as well! They are bright and if set up correctly they are amazing!! And Govee has so many products that you can link together to have an entire room that is synced together. The colors do take a little adjusting to match correctly but honestly out of the box and a quick set up and they still are great!

Nice colors scheme and bright, but that is all I can say about this product. The app is confusing to navigate, and it doesn't reflect colors that accurately. Also, the 360 camera mount doesn't stick at the back at the TV. Maybe works for TVs that have a thicker bezel than an inch, but for my "82 inch TV with a thinner bezel, it kept on falling off. I believe that there is an upgraded version out there, but for now with this product, I was not satisfied.

Easy setup. It would be nice if the tape was stronger. Does not bend around corners well. Colors are bright and looks good behind TV. Looks best on a dark wall or when TV is close to wall. Colors do not show up as much when pulled away from wall.

Was a little skeptical when I first saw these on the shelf, but I decided to give them a shot after seeing ads pop up on social medias. Turns out the install is really easy and it really adds that extra cool element to those family movie nights you’ve been looking for. Govee also has other products that can be linked with such as floor lamps, smart bulbs, etc.

If you are looking for a way to make your movie exprence from home even better look no further! These lights were easy to install took about 20 mins from start to finish. The light strip has a strong adhesive that sticks to the back of your tv and the top camera is easy to install to the tv. The quality of the lights is a 10/10 the lights are beautiful and you can pick if your lights match with the show your watching or just a fun light you want on constantly, the camera on top you get used to so fast since it does sit on top and stick out a little but it’s worth it and very sturdy! Love these lights and would by over and over.

These are pretty awesome. I had to do some fidgeting with it to get it to actually do right and I found that the best setting if you want it to really sync up good is put it in game mode whether you are doing movie watching or actually playing games. Adjusting the color saturation will also work wonders to help overall give you good color matches. But yeah it was a little tough for me at least to kind of figure out at first and get going but after I actually got it it was a breeze and I have enjoyed it ever since never thought I would but now that I have it it's actually been a pretty good little extra added bonus

I was interested in the backlight for my A80L so I decided to try this one. It didn’t work well and was actually kind of difficult to use. Installation was pretty easy but it had difficulty syncing with the tv. I also found it a bit distracting. It drew my attention from the movies I was watching. Just isn’t for me I guess.

Great lights and works well with the tv but the sticky parts tend to not be as strong. Also the app interface could be alot better but it works. Recommended if you wanted a better movie experience but eventually something better will come. Also for the bottom part of the lights if you’re tv isn’t hanging, it may be a problem since it isn’t flexible to move over the the tv stand legs.
