They can be operated via a mobile app as well as what I used, which was the desktop app to match a theme for my room room. I will be purchasing more of this brand for other usages!

I only needed about 5 feet of the strip to light the whole way across. I thought that cutting it so short my ruin the strip, but it didn't. The light has been perfect so far. The Govee app is ok, I have a schedule set up through it, but the strip also works with Google.

It works great and I did purchase an additional one to complete an entire bedroom. The kids turn their bedroom into a really cozy spot all night, and it doesn't use a lot of energy. They can even make it look like an aurora borealis.
