recently purchased the Govee Outdoor String Lights, and I couldn’t be happier with how they’ve transformed my backyard space. The lights are vibrant, customizable, and give off a high-quality, premium look that’s perfect for everything from relaxing evenings to hosting outdoor gatherings.

these lights are great and provide a lot of style options. Depending on your installation location you may need help or a pro to assist. They are easy enough for anyone to install but if your roof eaves are difficult to access you may want help. the lights are approximately 16" apart and have the full color wheel options. you have many preset patterns you can use as well as a custom light by light option. the kit comes with everything you need to install including mounting clips, light sticking attachments (I recommend the clips, the stickers don't hold well), extension cords and power blocks. The lights are easily controlled from the govee app on your mobile phone. I have only had these installed for 2 months so I don't know how well they last but are supposed to be permanent so I expect them to last for 5-10 years or more per the specs.

These Lights are awesome. I love that I can make them as bright as I want or as dim. They were very easy to install and the glue on the back of each light was very strong. They also felt very durable, I feel Like they will last me several years. The app is very user friendly with lots of cool features.

These lights are bright! My wife saw a neoighbor who had these and really liked how they lit up the outside of the house. Being permanent, I liked that we could control all of the lights individually through the app and make holidays easier to change with. You can mount with brackets or the sticky pads, although I recommend 3M adhesive to improve the stickiness if you go that route. Looking forward to enjoying and playing with the colors on the outside of the house for years to come!

Very simple to install if you have an outlet in the roof to plug directly into. Also looks very good and professional, my wife and I did it ourselves after getting quoted $3,000 for another brand of permanent light installed. This option was emensly more affordable and looks very professional. Also from the ground it blends into the roof very well. These lights can be programmed to turn on/off and connect to wifi allowing you to use your phone to turn them on/off via the app anywhere in world (provided you have service)

Great outdoor permanent ligting for any holiday. I had to do a little more work to get these lights up and running because of the odd roof of Arizona homes. I needed to add 12 pieces of 8ft long 1"x2" wood to attach the lights on. And I have to splice additional wires to make another extension, but those are easy works. The lights went up very easy with the tapes came with it. And the set up with the app is very easy and quick. I put mind up a week before Christmas and I will leave them there for years. The color sceme is great, many options to choose from or I can pick my own. I own a few diferent Govee lights in our house and we love them all. This is not the pro version, which has better white light and higher brightness. This is bright enough for lighting up my walls. Although it's not the pro version, it's still not cheap, but you do pay for what you get, this is an awesome light.

I have to say, I am impressed. The ease of installation (even in 20 degree F weather) is phenomenal. The app could be a little more user friendly but like any I am sure with time I will get the hang of it. It has been so much fun already! During the Texas and Texas A&M game we had our house lit up Orange and white and our neighbors (Aggie fans) had theirs maroon and white. It was great friendly rivalry! But we know which stayed on all night! Quality is amazing! All the accessories and extras come in handy! I didn’t realize I started with wrong in on the 3rd roof apex and had to start over! Thankfully you get an extra strand worth of 3M stickies! I wish I did this years ago! And so glad I went for it by myself instead of paying the ridiculous quoted $3800 to have it done. Save your money! You got this! Just be safe!

They were better than expected. I watched several YouTube reviews and decided to try the Govee lights. Somewhat easy to install, long ladders or a lift are needed on two story houses. I do wished they had more clips to secure the lights. Now the best part, the results are fantastic. The lights really enhance my home's curb appeal for both the holidays and non holidays. The white light add a charm to the house. Another nice thing about the Govee is their app. You can do a lot of customization. If you don't feel like messing with the customization, Govee has a lot of presets for various holidays or scenes built into the app. I will give this product a must have for home owners wanting to improve their house's looks at night plus never wanting to put up Christmas or Halloween lights again.

These lights are perfect. The wife loves them and I love that we can leave them up all year and we can represent more than one holiday or event.

The lights are amazing. Truly get what you pay for as far as the color options, sequences, and quality. Mobile app is easy to set up and use. The downfall of this product is the mounting brackets, screws, and 3M double sided tape. If you live in the south where it’s humid the tape is a no go. The mounting brackets are ineffective without the tape adhering like it’s supposed to. I ended up spending and additional $50 on some non Govee brand brackets that worked amazing! The screws are super tiny and the heads round off very very easy. Installation was a major pain due to these issues. The lights themselves are excellent though I’d say 10/10. Mounting hardware is a 3/10.

These lights are so versatile! There are so many options to use for colors and multiple colors scheme, ai and self created. Highly recommend

Purchased for our southwest style flat roof home. Purchased 45 degree angled clips from amazon and rather than use nails or screws, we used liquid nails to install. We attached all the lights to the clips on the ground, went on roof within 20 minutes lights were installed. Easy to use app, AI helps create color schemes for you. Will keep these up year round and use for holidays, cookouts and family events
