Cute Novelty, Not Worth the price.

The product seemed to catch my kids attention. So the marketing ploy worked - neat looking speakers for your PC or Mac that work for about three days.
Shortly after my son began using these speakers it took about three days of operation before they began to crackle, get all static, and then simply died. Again, it is a cute little novelty item, but honestly not worth more than $5.00. I would HIGHLY recommend against this product. Cheaply made with only one real feature - the water squirt and leds.

I went into the store to pay a bill on the BB credit card. Saw these bad boys on sale near the register for only $12. I had to pick them up (didn't want to walk out empty handed after not seeing anything in the blu-ray section to pick up).
At first hook up, no sounds were coming out. Unplugged everything, then reconnected. The jack cord from phone into the speakers was not in all the way. You gotta make sure it is fully fully in. Now everything was good except for lack of wild water show. You simply gotta turn the volume all the way up on your device.
I would have given it 5 stars if it was more sensitive to sound, so that you would get a wild water show even with music not blasting. With this one working just fine, I can't see ever paying for the more expensive ones, unless they were bigger in size.
I've used this a few times now while listening to music during my weekly comic book readings.

First off these aren't wireless which wasn't a deal breaker because I though they were cool so I got them anyway. The set up is quit odd having to connect the speakers via USB to a computer or if you have a portable battery, primarily used for phones, which is another negative. Unless what you're listening to is turned up to the max the water will not spout. If that doesn't bother you then go for these speakers however I personally like don't always like music blasting. The speakers are getting returned, definitely not worth keeping.

Oil Spill (Times 2!)

I bought these speakers for my daughter for Christmas. When we opened it on X-mas morning the box was covered in oil, oh btw they should be called "Dancing Oil Speakers". The liquid inside is oil, not water. Back to the story... the "Water" inside the speakers had leaked out and basically made the product useless. The speakers worked but the sound coming from inside them (I assume the pump trying to pump the non existent oil) was so loud that you cant even hear the music. Needless to say we returned them and they shipped us a new set. Just got done opening them and again, one speaker has leaked out all the oil. Also there is a crack on top of both speakers. Pretty sure I'm going to return them and go to Hot Topic and spend the extra $15 for the Bluetooth ones...and check them before I leave.

Bought as Christmas gift for son, didn't work at all, paired fine but water / lights did not respond to music. We tried several types of music, volumes, devices, nothing-- big disappointment to child.

Tried and tried to get these to work and they would never work right. Would not dance. Now won't work at all and beyond the return date.
