Best one of the franchise in my opinion. The multiple characters keeps things moving and interesting. The M rating is well deserved though, if language and violence offends you don't play it.

This game is amazing. I've played every grand theft auto since 3, after the last one I was starting to get burnt out on it. I wasn't expecting anything special with this game, just another rehashed version.. I was wrong. This gameis aamazing in every way. I love everything about it and feel like I've never played a grand theft auto before. Driving is a bit hard because it's realistic, but you get used to it very quickly. You come to love all the protagonist, and every character you come across. The graphics are gorgeous. For how big this game is, the graphics shouldn't look as good as they do. Especially the water effect. All around, buy this game. You won't regret it.

Its a nice breath of fresh to be returning to San Andreas. In this new GTA experience you play as three different characters that you can switch between in real time (most the time). They each have special abilities and their own unique personality, friends, cars, clothing preferences, etc. This new gameplay element adds a massive amount of depth and changes that the GTA games so badly needed. GTA IV was stale and boring but GTA V hits a home run with a massive map with city and rural areas, tons of guns, missions, side missions, mini games, strange characters, an amazing script and voice acting and much much more. Go pick this game up right now, you wont regret it!

This game is fantastic from start to finish (if you can ever really finish a GTA game). The characters are well rounded and unique, the story is funny and well thought out, and the missions are challenging but not frustrating (most of the time). There is excessive violence and it's not appropriate for kids, but you probably already knew that. The world is teeming with things to do, not only missions, but play gold or tennis, trade on two different stock markets, midnight street racing, invest in real estate that you have to manage and improve for maximum benefit, the list goes on and on. Definitely a game any serious gamer will love and needs in their collection.

Just started the storyline. Expansive game, huge map and tons of things to do and see. This is a huge leap from GTA IV. Can't wait to get deeper into story and find all the great details.

This game is possibly the best game to ever be released for the PS3 and is by far the best Grand Theft Auto ever to hit the market. The map is huge! As it is bigger than San Andreas, Red Dead Redemption, and GTA 4's maps combined. There is a ton of stuff to do while not playing the missions, such as Golf, Tennis, Racing, going to the Strip Club, flying commercial airliners, basejumping and much more. The story is tight and the characters are interesting and never fail to keep you engaged, especially Trevor. I would highly recommend this game to anyone that likes action adventure games or just great games in general. Definitely not an experience to miss out on.

The story feels good and compels you to keep playing unlike some previous installments. Heist missions are something I hope they expand upon as this game series evolves. Multiple lead characters was a nice new feature and how well the game handled loading between them was impressive.

Finally, it's Grand Theft Auto V!! We've all been waiting years for this title to release & it does not disappoint! Beautiful vistas from city to beachfront to flat desert! Crazy story, with 3 equally wild characters to control thru 60+ story missions! There are so many extra strange things to do outside of the main story, you can spend hours walking/driving/flying around Los Santos getting into all types of trouble! Plus whenever you want to jump online with your friends, it's simple, just pull out your phone & join a friend's game online! Lots of top notch RockStar fun finally available for not consoles, PS3 & Xbox that any gamer over 18 won't want to miss

From the story to graphics, this is the best game I ever played! Great interaction between characters... I've been playing for 2 months now and for sure I have much more to explore!

GTA 5 continues the strong tradition Rockstar has set in the previous installments of the series. The story/plot is quite engaging with some superb voice-acting by the main three characters. An entertaining plotline keeps the primary story threads engaging. A plethora of side quests and mini-games can distract you from the main story for hours on end, with certain "Strangers and Freaks" missions particularly fun. The scope of the city and surrounding landscape is unbelievable; just driving around through the game world is quite immersive. With so many exciting activities and a great story, GTA 5 is the best installment of the series since Vice City.

GREAT game and great effort by RockStar. I really like GTA V a lot...it's challenging to me thus far. I've never played one start to finish, but I really like this one a lot and like how the story lines of the 3 main characters come together and intersect. If you haven't had a GTA game before, definitely give this one a try. A major down side to me though is it's VERY Mature and pretty darn racist, especially at the beginning. A lot of vernacular in today's speech is present, but that doesn't mean it's OK. But, I can deal with it. It's just a game. But to the stupid or easily impressionable, it's pretty bad. Don't let your young kids play this game.

Grand Theft Auto V is the first game in a long time that I've pre-ordered, and it was well worth paying the opening day cost. It has an awesome single-player game, tons of replayability, and the online multiplayer is very fun, with new features added recently, including Heists.

From start to finish, I can say that the $250 million budget shows in every minute of gameplay. The sheer amount of detail that went into the landscaping of Los Santos is incredible, and the ability to switch between the 3 main characters throughout the story is genius! It took me a full month (playing several hours a day) to complete the main story, but I enjoyed nearly all of it (other than repeating failed missions). However, I didn't like the excessive profanity, and a couple of missions were gruesome to play/watch. Overall, this was the most enjoyable game for me since Vice City, and has already entertained me for over 50 hours.

I planned on goin to sleep at 10 or 10:30 last night after playing for an hour or so after the gym....yeah 4:30 am turned out to be the actual lights out time! GTA online multiplayer is so addictive. Before that, single player was / is fun as well, great scripts for story and characters. Cool environment. It would be nice though if more building were able to be entered on the inside, like a usable casino, or a mall like in VC you could wreak havoc in, but oh well, R* still nailed a masterpiece. Go get it!

The story line is great you play multiple characters during the game who are all connected together. Each person having a special ability and specific clothes, stores hideouts, and businesses you can buy. You can carry a lot more guns and purchase add on's, customize your car's, get tattoos, hair cuts and yes the car wash is back again. The cops are a lot more aggressive and are harder to get away from. there's a lot of little things that are new like playing golf, tennis, and buying/selling stocks. This is a must buy if you have been with the franchise since GTA 3 but its still really good even if your a first timer.

Rockstar has been rumored to have spent some $260 Million dollars making this game over 5 years, and its apparent that the time went to into it was used well. Like i said above, the vast open world, the incredible soundtrack and ability to switch between 3 different lead characters to experience a living breathing story unlike any you have seen before, makes for an immersive experience. Aside from the required 8 gb install, the gameplay is fast,fluid with little or no noticeable slowdown. The soundtrack ranks up there with, for me, GTA Vice City, in terms of relevance to the time period the gameplay sets you in.

In my all time favorite GTA games this would only lose to San Andreas and Vice City. This is a must Buy for GTA fans and if you have a PS4 or XONE get those versions instead since there is a pretty good graphics upgrade and not to mention the first person view.

Very good game! Very addicting must get it! One of the best grand theft auto! Love the three person story. Michael, Franklin, and trevor! Trevor is such a bad *** in this game, but I love them all in general just biased over trevor because he does some crazy stuff in the game. Camera angle does get annoying at points but you can fix it easily! Can't wait for Grand Theft Auto Online on October 1st! Its going to be sick! Open world, and you can do quest with your friends or make your own quest! This game is probably going to be the game of the year. It's a must buy for all Grand Theft Auto and Saints Row fan.

As any grand theft auto game, V is over the top ridiculousness. Break onto a base or airport, steal a jet blow stuff up, steal cars, ramp cars off of stunt platforms and kill fellow players in the online mode. Graphics are ever incresing in quality with each game. This game is a lot of fun, but not for the faint of heart. The language in it is reason enough for parents to question buying it for their kids.

When you pop in the game right off the back you're already engaged in action! It's not the usual run of the mill GTA where you follow the usual beat, mafia or gang etc etc. This one actual has a great storyline, and is a sandbox where you can do anything and everything. It's elaborate the graphics are great, and the details are executed perfectly, I'd recommend this game to just about anyone (that meets the m rated standards). The only lame thing is the 8Gb space required just to play the game, aside from that it's definitely a win for Rockstar, great game. Definitely in the running for Game of the Year.
