I got this on sale for black friday. But did not open till christmas gift to myself. I did not get to far into it yet but I think it is way better than GTA4.

GTAV does not disappoint and lives up to other titles in the series. The huge open world environment and little details (ex wet dripping clothes if you jump in and out of a pool) are what truly make this game excellent. While I miss some of the minor game play features from GTA4, this game adds in it's own assortment of random features, that although repetitive, are still fun and add to the game play experience.

Played about 20 hours so far. The game takes at least 10 hours to get into and at times its difficult to know where exactly to go and what to do due to the somewhat open game play. At the same time the open game play combined with the huge realm in which you preside make this game so great. Interweave three separate, playable characters with merging story lines and you have the makings of a potential masterpiece.

I really liked this game. I have only had it for a week but stay up late to play it. It is lots of fun. I really like flying around. I highly recommend it.

In keeping with tradition GTA 5 has a great story to tell. It is super they managed to intertwine the lives of 3 guys all having diverse backgrounds and make the story believable. The map is HUGE. The learning curve for vehicle driving is steep, I've never experienced a GTA where running into a light post can make a car change direction or stop but hey, we didn't buy the game exclusively for driving did we?

Everything including the storyline, side missions and the free roaming which is so vast with the map being widely huge. The transition in between the 3 main characters is amazingly fun. Each of them has there own personality built to the game. Game was so worth it definitely a buy for anyone interested in Grand Theft Auto.

I've only Had the game a few days, so only at level 6. There is so much to do and see in this latest GTA. No question this is the best one ever! The improved graphics and so many things to do (in addition to missions), you can always find something new to do. Depending on your mission success, the game actually changes. So if you want...you can even start over if you're not happy with how it went.

I've been hooked on the GTA series since the groundbreaking GTA3. GTA V does not disappoint. It's open-world environment is unrivaled. Lots of fun.

The game is awesome and very challanging...........the graphics are over the top....Highly recommended.....

Gameplay and missions are great although the story is lacking. Unlike in previous gta games where you care for the protagonist it is hard to get attached by how they developed the characters through the story. The best part of the game was planning and pulling off heists but there weren't that any of them. Wish they had more heists to pull as that was the bed part of the game. The underwater environment seems pretty useless since there aren't that many activities to do. The map is gigantic but most of it is mountains. It might be 3 times bigger than San Andreas but San Andreas had 3 different cities. And it seems that rocks tar is trying to compete with saints row with the over the top violent jokes where before it was a satire now it's just forcefully crude.

NOT A KIDS GAME!! it became very apparent after playing for the first 2 hours that this in no way should be played by anyone under the age of 18. Full topless nudity, torture scenes, and the worst language I've ever heard in a video game. But with that being said if you are ok with that it is a fun game to play and constantly cracks me up with some of the random jokes they throw in there.

This game has a fantastic storyline. The ability to switch between 3 characters, many times during the same mission, extends mission playtime and adds new life to the 3rd person shooter genre. Grand theft auto online adds huge value. It makes a 60 dollar game worth so much more. Many, if not all, glitches and errors have been fixed since launch. I haven't looked back. Highly recommend.

Full disclosure: I've never played a game in the GTA series before this one. Now I see what all the fuss was about. Since I chose not to play previous entries in the series, I probably am getting much more enjoyment out of GTA V than those who have been following the series since its inception. The story is very engaging and interesting, and I'm thoroughly enjoying the diverse, complex characters. I've read people's complaints about the updated driving controls, and while I can't say if they're better or worse compared to GTA IV, I really like how cars handle (I've played many 3rd-person driving games in my gaming over the years, particularly arcade racers, and the GTA V controls feel natural to me). The controls outside of driving are also very responsive and feel very comfortable on the PS3 controller. Overall, I highly recommend this game to any who are interested in it. I've yet to find a more enjoyable sandbox game experience (I loved Sleeping Dogs, and GTA V has a chance of surpassing it in terms of quality). One final note: Do not--I repeat, DO NOT--purchase GTA V if you are (or the person for whom you are considering purchasing it for is) under 17 years of age, as the game's Mature rating is definitely earned here; the characters use strong language in practically every sentence, the violence is very intense, and the suggestive content is pervasive and noticeable.

Delivered exactly what you should expect from a GTA game while looking great. Good story. Violence. Vulgar langugage. Raunchy characters. Definitely not for the kiddos. Pretty cool feature to have the 3 character approach (sort of 4). Plenty to do if you don't want to follow the story missions. LA/Los Santos looks great. I've had some minor glitches but nothing big to complain about.

I pre-ordered this game, and I don't regret it. This game has great graphics. It is the best GTA game. This is my favorite ps3 game so far.

Thoroughly enjoy this installment in the GTA franchise. New elements like multiple controllable protagonists add an element of freshness to this game. All the same old elements of previous GTA's are here as well. New control scheme takes a little while to get used to, but it's not too difficult. If you've enjoyed any previous GTA I would definitely recommend picking up GTA V.

Best in the series. Story mode spans across three characters which is very unique and entertaining.

I have not been the biggest fan of GTA in the past, but this game makes me a believer again. The amount of things you can do is endless and the online is not even active yet until Oct. 1st. There are so many places you can travel in this massive open world, steal a tank, blow things up, play tennis, golf, go jet skiing, fly a blimp, plane. Like I said endless things to do!!!

If you have been a fan of Grand Theft Auto from the very beginning, then this is a game that you don't want to miss. I love the story line, and how you can switch between the characters. The only negative thing that I noticed was one little glitch that happens rarely only when I'm driving in a vehicle. It tends to freeze for about 5 seconds, and then resumes back to normal.

Really great open world game. Just love wandering around and getting immersed in the environment.
