I've played previous GTA's and they have all been fun but this one takes the cake. Being able to play different characters and play their back stories just makes the game that much more better. Everything about this game is just awesome. Cant wait for online play next month. The game will become much more addicting if that is even possible.

Make sure you do not have any plans in thee near future because you are not going to want toleave the house after you start playing. There is just so much to do between activities, missions, etc you will never get bored. The only problem is they changed the controls and they are terrible, but a small price to pay for a groundbreaking game.

Rockstar games has out done themselves in GTA V! The graphics are top notch. The writing, story and character development are superb. The game us ver ambitious in scope, the grandeur scale/size and the complexity in the missions, environment, and in game society. You truly feel like the game takes place in an organic and living city!

If you are worried that this game is another GTA4, don't be. Rockstar has gone above and beyond the call of duty when they crafted this game. The size and scope of this title is so large that it is hard to draw a comparison with other games. In short if you like open-world, 3rd person games with a story, this is a game to pick up.

After being extremely disappointed with GtaIV rockstar has stepped it up. Controls are fluid once again. Storyline is decent. With the ability to switch to multiple characters there is never a dull moment. The graphics are amazing. This game shows what a ps3 is capable of. I seriously hope this game releases on a nexgen console.

Awesome open world game. Lots of different things to do and you get to play as three different main characters. The story is very good as well and many side missions to do outside the many story missions that drive you through the game and open up new things.

This game is a phenomenon of a game. The graphics are similar to Max Payne 3 and the overall story is above and beyond GTAIV. My favorite part about the graphics actually is the water. Some of the best water graphics I've ever saw in a game. Great game that you can easily get 50+ hours in. Online is coming to it October 1st.

GTA 5 is by far the best game of the series. Graphics are phenomenal!!!!

Great game! Must own before moving on to next generation console. Like the open world experience and story. Also the gameplay is good. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Overall one of the best games ever, however is dampered by the fact that every other word is a cuss word in the game, which may not offend many people, but it makes me have to play with really low volume, as not to be annoyed by that fact. It would be perfect game if they had a cuss word censorship feature for download.

This is by far the best installment of Grand Theft Auto to date. The characters are well-developed, driving the plot as their paths collide. Each protagonist has his own take on life in Los Santos, which often presents trouble among the group. During a mission that involves all three characters, the player can switch seamlessly from one to the other to deal with each aspect of the heist. Like any GTA title, it does a fantastic job of poking fun at life in America, one stereotype at a time. The tone is humorous, but the characters feel real. The player has the freedom to play through as a stand-up guy or go on a rampage as a chaotic psycho. The power is in the player's hands to choose how to conduct him or herself. The graphics are the best yet for GTA, and the massive soundtrack features over a dozen radio stations with plenty of tunes to keep you going. The cars are beautiful and abundant, and there is so much variety to the missions. With so many aspects of gameplay and customization, the replay value is off the charts. Rockstar really knocked it out of the park on this one. It was worth the wait.

An improvement on the previous versions, but still has the same gratuitous violence... Fun for the adults...

If you've never played any other GTA title, Start with this one. The story line is excellent with one of the best cast of characters I've ever seen in a game. This game is not for everyone some will be put off by the violence and crude dialogue. But for any fans of heist movies or crime games you're in for a treat.

If you're a fan of GTA, then stop reading these reviews and pick it up now! If you're on the fence about it: the city of Los Santos takes landscapes that we love about all of the grand theft autos: The Miami vibe from Vice City, the open areas of San Andreas, and the urban cities of Liberty City. The atmosphere itself is breathtaking and Rockstar outdid themselves by a mile by creating what is arguably the best Grand Theft Auto ever. The missions may just be the biggest improvement of all. They are RIDICULOUS, yet at the same time, you find it believable; that's how great the character development is in this series! Even if you are not a big fan of the GTA series, the characters and storyline could make you change your mind. The way that I would generalize the characters is a mix of HBO's Entourage meets The Sopranos. The people are hilarious and the voice acting (recorded by an impressive list of familiar stars) and scripting is as entertaining as a TV show. There's something for everybody to like in this GTA, and it won't take you long to find something to cherish in it as well.

This game is must have in anyone's collection. GTA V is the best game out right now. The story is amazing. There is so many things to do, it should keep you happy for months. And then Online should be out soon. Looking forward to that. 10/10 . This maybe the best game of the year if its able to beat The Last of Us.

GTA V was worth the money spent. The sheer amount of things to do as you play is incredible, and the story is the best I've seen yet in the series. The post game play is better than you might expect, with plenty to do once the story is finished.

This is the best game I've ever played. It just gets better and better. This game is huge and I find myself trapped in it for hours. I would recommend this to anyone above the age of 18 given the extensive vulgarity and violence. The story is good and the ability to play between the characters is new and genius.
