This game is a huge improvement over the last GTA game. The controls are very well done and not clunky, graphics have seen an improvement, and the story is great. There are a few new features added to this game and they have been implemented very well. I suggest everyone try this game at least once.

I don't have much to say about this game that I'm sure hasn't already been said in all the other reviews and websites. But Grand Theft Auto V really is a crowning achievement for videogaming. Grand Theft Auto IV took the GTA formula too seriously. It brought us a very cinematic tale with a little emotion but failed with character development. It also forgot about the "fun" that made the past GTA games so darn memorable. Gone were airplanes and being able to jetpack around and parachute in the sea... now we were stuck on the ground unless you grabbed a helicopter, but even that wasn't fun at all. Grand Theft Auto V continues the cinematic storyline, but improves upon it greatly. The writing is much sharper, the voice acting less grating, and the character development is insanely strong. In addition to improving on the cinematic nature, it also improves in the fun department. Planes are back, off-roading is back, looking for Bigfoot is back... and the game has an amazing sense of humor again. GTA IV rarely made me crack a smile. GTA V has gotten me to laugh more than once, and I have only played for a fraction of the time I spent in GTA IV (I played that one mostly online. That was about as fun as it got). Definitely pick it up if you're a fan of sandbox games or even lost interest in the series after the uber-serious Grand Theft Auto IV. This installment will reinstate your love of the series, even if there aren't so many buildings you can explore unfortunately. Also somewhat unfortunately, the online mode is not activated yet. I'm not sure when that is supposed to be happening. I will put "Multiplayer capable" but that's only because it IS capable of it, but it is not yet available.

Excellent game with terrific gameplay and story. Incredible amount of content. be warned: very addictive!

You probably already know if you like the GTA series. The core gameplay is smoothed out here but has the same fundamentals of GTA IV. The story is great, with three main characters you can switch between for the first time in the series. There is so much to do that it would take hundreds of hours to do it all, especially once GTA Online launches Oct. 1. Rockstar has literally maxed out what you can do on next gen systems on this instant classic.

GTA V is another solid installment in the Rockstar collection, and a perfect marriage of elements they have perfected between GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption. The character switching is revolutionary in a way that is rarely seen in the rinse and repeat formula of today's AAA titles and mega-franchises. This game has a seemingly endless array of options and activities, and suits a variety of styles. Come for the story, stay for the experience.

My brother loves this game so much that he plays it everyday. I think the most attractive part of the game it's multiplayer

Always a good time-waster -- but keep away from your kids unless you want them seeing things they probably shouldn't. Love popping in this game and wasting a few hours.

This immense open world shows off the true power of video gaming at it's best. The intense and insane storyline is the perfect amount of humor, mischief, and vulgarity that is Grand Theft Auto. Never leaving a dull moment with random ocurances in the world that can affect your personal story, the game really shines and encompasses you in a truly alive and open world. Take a little vacation from your city, and explore Los Santos!

What makes this game great is it has great graphics, music,story and most of all gameplay. This is by far the best entry in the gta series. The controls are spot on and crisp. The hit detection is precise and realistic. One thing that is really cool is the damage of the cars. I stood there shooting a parked car and the detail of damage on the car was the best i have ever seen. I love the music and the talk radio is very funny.

This is rockstar in its prime. The compony that has defined sandbox gameplay and immersive worlds to get lost in has done it again. All you have to do is look at what they have built on to see where this game got its polish and appeal from. Tight gameplay with an imeersive world that lends itself over to both satire and mayhem. GTAV is a high water mark in AAA title gaming. All other games in this genre will now be on notice.

If you're over 17 and want the best a mature video game has to offer grab this game now. It's really a no-brainer. On the surface, it's a game about violence, drugs, and other criminal activity. Look slightly beyond the obvious and you get an intelligent satire of "the real world", success, failure, the American dream... All of this in what is to-day the most gorgeous, lively, and engaging open world in video games.

Each GTA gets more advanced, more tech oriented, and more fun. I love the ability to swap between people, go on the internet on your phone and trade stocks, and even bringing some of the characters over from GTA4. The story line is well written and the graphics are amazing as any high end game you get in this era. I do agree with the violence rating on the game as all GTA games but for adults, I would recommend.

A return to San Andreas with and even bigger map and sandbox to play in. Richer story mode than ever achieved before in a GTA game. Ability to switch between 3 main characters is genius and flawless. Flying returns to GTA with a vengeance with a emphasis on that great feature. Most beautifully rendered GTA yet. Only super minor disappointment is music licensing for radio stations is the weakest since Vice city.

GTA 5 for the Xbox 360 is a great game for the experienced gamer. My 16yr old loves it and plays with his friends. It is definitely suited for a mature audience.

The storyline is based on a three-protagonist structure that leads to loads of amazing moments. You can take part in outstanding, multilayered heists and other interesting missions. The map is a huge, gorgeous, varied open world packed with things to see and do. Of course, where would GTA be without the AUTO? Great vehicle handling along with the mass customization of any car makes traveling the world a joy.

Easily the best game in the GTA series. The game is beautiful for a system that is 7 years old and the sheer amount of content with this game is overwhelming at times. It is a biting look at American culture and no one is safe from being made fun of for the stupid stuff we do. This game is an absolute masterpiece if you like sandbox games at all you have to play it. Every aspect has been improved from GTA4

More GTA fun and thrills. Large areas and more great things to do. Easy to start and roll out thru the streets. Lots of areas to explore, driving among best ever. Characters are each different and exploring their quirks adds to the experience of playing the game. Can play for hours and doesn't get old. Highly recommended.
