Received this today as an early Father's Day gift to replace my old gas mower that won't start anymore and I wanted to avoid all of the regular maintenance that goes along with them. Easy to put together put of the box, the batteries take about an hour to charge, and I can juuuust about finish my decent sized lawn before they are depleted and have to charge again. I wish the batteries lasted a bit longer. Otherwise, I love it!

Love the handling, very easy to operate, charges last a long time. Cut good, adjustable height is great also. Don’t have to worry about carburetor malfunction or idling adjustment

This is my very first total electric lawnmower. I am very pleased with my purchase. I was skeptical at first but thoroughly satisfied. The ease of starting the lawnmower and cutting the yard was very easy. I'm like a Dinosaur when it comes to change but this was a fantastic decision.

Brand response from Greenworks Tools

Hello Gzhi. We are sorry to hear of your experience. As you mentioned the batteries are fully charged and the unit would not start. A common cause for the lawn mower not starting is that the mower is not started correctly. Please try the following steps: 1. Open the battery lid. 2. Put a charged battery in each of the battery holders. Please note, users must use (2) fully charged Greenworks 24V battery packs. Do not use battery packs other than Greenworks 24V. Ensure both batteries are charged 100%. If each battery has a different charge state, the run-time of the machine is subject to the lowest powered battery (For example: one battery is charged 100%, and the other is charged 50%, the unit will only run until the 50% battery is depleted). When using (2) batteries with different amp hours (Ah), the machine will run until the lower (Ah) battery is depleted. 3. While holding the start button, pull the bail switch in the direction of the handlebar. Release the start button and continue to hold onto the bale handle. We hope this helps! Should this not yield results contact Greenworks by Live Chat on Greenworks Tools website or call 1-888-909-6757. Please have the unit, battery and charger so we can help you best. Thank you.
