    Be prepared for the chain to come off every minute or two. There's a screw that's supposed to tighten the chain, but it doesn't seem to make any difference at all. It did the job I bought it for, but using this saw requires time and patience and I would have a hard time recommending it to a friend.

      Hello Dave - We are sorry to hear that your purchase fell below expectations. Chains stretch with use. When new, they stretch more. The tension on a new or newish chain should be checked and tightened every 20 minutes of cutting or so, it can get away from you fast. This is normal stretching.

    The chain falls off regularly. Battery seemed good for the first 10 hours of use, now after 20 minute i have to recharge. This is not a serious tool, it's a toy. Best buy's return policy is only 30 days, I missed the return timeline. Going to buy a gas powered Dewalt for the same price, much better tool.

      Hello TomA. Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you have experienced an issue with the chain not staying on. New chains tend to stretch; so be sure to check the chain tension frequently and tension as required. However, be sure to never tension a warm chain before storing as chains shrink when cooling and this can damage the chain, bar and saw. Please ensure that when you remove the side cover that the following parts are there and in order: sprocket (chain wheel), chain wheel washer and finally the c-lip. These parts are imperative when it comes to keeping the chain on. An 80V 2Ah battery can yield up to 83 cuts on a single charge, depending on the thickness and size of branches. We suggest bringing a an extra battery or two if you are planning on cutting down more than the suggested cut/battery.     It is a little heavy but I have never used a gas powered one so I can't compare. What used to take me an hour to an hour and a half to do I did in 10 minutes with this saw. I'm glad I bought it
