Our batteries are designed with a secure fit to prevent accidental dislodgement during operation. Because of this, a firm grip is required when removing the battery.
Before inserting the battery, please ensure the rails/tracks on both the battery and the tool are free of dirt or debris, as buildup can restrict movement.
To remove the battery:
Press and hold the battery release latch firmly.
Stabilize the unit with one hand.
Pull the battery pack straight out with a steady, firm motion.
For a visual demonstration, you can refer to the official Greenworks support video available on the Greenworks Tools YouTube channel, which shows proper battery removal and installation techniques for compatible models.

Great Greenworks bundle!

Both trimmer and blower work great. The trimmer sometimes does not extend the line when bumped or extends only one side. But this is something that requires more experience as each trimmer tool has somewhat different behavior.

The battery is not large enough to do a suburban yard on one charge. I bought it from Best Buy and was supposed to get a second battery during a promotion but they never sent the second battery. I give Best Buy an F. The leaf blower is strong enough to move wet leaves with the high speed button.. I Haven't used the trimmer yet.

But Greenworks has outdone themselves. The cutting path of the strung trimmer is great. The blowing power of the handheld blower is better than any handheld gas blower I've used. Not too heavy, but not super flimsy. I say a geeat purchase.

Mine came with a 4.0 ah battery which I think is a better fit for me although a second battery would've been a lot better. A great buy and very happy with this product.

I really like the strap as it allows my entire body to carry the weight rather than my arms. The only issue that I have is that while trimming or blowing, the battery shuts down at times. If I remove the battery and reinsert the battery, everything works well, until 10-15 min later when it stops again. I called the Greenworks Tools support and that was a bad experience. Their customer support was very slow and when they did get on the phone, they asked me the same questions over and over. After explaining the issue, the customer support said the issue was that the battery just needed to be charged. That is incorrect because it allowed for 30+ min of use after the battery shut off the first time.
