They are somewhat heavy, but overall the unit isn't too bad in terms of weight. They might be a bit challenging to get out of the charging dock for someone with limited hand strength, but it's not too bad. I would point out that one battery does not get fully charged while you are using another, so it's not like getting an extra battery lets you use your leaf blower continuously, but still, it's good to have double the time.

It has worked really well as our backup battery when doing lawn care or for days when I am doing work in one area while someone else is working in a different part of the yard. Would purchase if it was not included for sure.

It is great to have an extra battery. My yard isn't too big, so I have enough juice using just the one battery. But in the fall, it will come in VERY handy when blowing leaves.
