This thing drives like a Rolls Royce! I’ve had 2 mowers in my lifetime and i never saw a reason to get a new one. Boy was I wrong! Anyone using this and claiming they are tired after yard work
Is lying. Steers like a dream, barely requires more than a single finger push, and helped me get my yard looking like a million bucks in about 10 minutes. Fast, light, easy to maneuver.

I really like this mower. I mow about an acre and I am able to do it all on 2 batteries unless the grass is super long. Very quiet, plenty of speed choices. Turbo mode automatically kicks in when needed.
The only thing that isn't great is that the grass isn't thrown very far with the stock blade and fan combo and there are no blades or other fan options available that I can find- even on Greenworks site. I did install a universal blade that threw the grass much farther but I went through batteries at twice the normal rate so not a good option. I hope Greenworks is working on a better combo.

Set up was straightforward. Mowed well especially on the turbo setting. Had enough battery to mow for about 45 minutes which was adequate for our lawn size. Like the collapsable handle for small storage. Can highly recommend this lawnmower.

Last fall, Hurricane Helene flooded my garage and basement, destroying my ride-on mower (30" TB30B), and the replacement cost was more than twice what I paid for it. Fearing that this might happen again, I decided to try the Greenworks 80 Volt 21-Inch Self-Propelled Lawn Mower, and so far, I've found it very easy to use, quiet, and low maintenance. While there are some challenges in maneuvering around my lawn, its overall benefits—and especially the convenience of a cordless and its self-propelled mower—outweigh its drawbacks, which is mostly its low operation time - which necessitate buying an expensive backup battery. With its 80v 4ah battery I can use it for almost 45 minutes but if your yard is larger, then you probably need to get an extra battery.

I now have used this mower twice and am very happy. First of all, the assembly was easy. For anyone who purchases this mower, you can find a video on Youtube showing all the steps from unpacking to full assembly.
Once assembled, I immediately used the fully charged battery that I already had with their snowblower and was able to mow my entire yard with plenty of power to spare. If you don't have a fully charged battery, you need to charge the one with the mower prior to use.
The height adjustment is one lever and very easy. The mower cut the grass well even though it was high (first mowing of year) and mulched it well. I did use the "turbo" button in a few areas that were really thick.
I used the mower for the second mowing and it continues to work well. I am very happy with this product.

First time owner of an electric lawnmower and this one was not disappoint! It was easy to assemble right out of the box! The battery held the charge for my entire lawn. The wheel height is so easy to adjust! The self propelled is amazing and the start button, wonderful! I’m a 70 year old grandmother and I now love cutting my grass! Won’t be throwing my shoulder out from the gas start one I was using! I love this lawnmower! Highly recommend!

I was using an electric plug in mower before that has lasted me 5+ years. This mower is way more powerful and the battery is just the right size for my yard. I love the automatic blade speed adjustment when it gets into thick grass, then slows down in easy to cut grass. It’s worth the buy. I did get it on sale, so it was even more worth the money spent.

First, great price and fast delivery. Easy set up and clear directions for mower and battery. Blade cutting height easy to adjust while mowing. Mower is powerful, especially with turbo feature to get thru tough places. Battery has more than enough endurance for the 0.28 acre of lawn I mow. Rear grass catcher ideal size for me. Speed control and battery level display well placed.

It was easy to assemble and learn how to use. The only part I struggle with somewhat is making turns but it's probably just going to take some getting used to. I love being able to use the self-propelled feature as needed. I had to recharge the battery twice to mow my whole yard but it charged within an hour each time so it wasn't too bad. I'll probably buy a backup battery at some point to eliminate waiting for it to charge to resume mowing.

I like the lawnmower. It was easy to assemble and easy to charge the battery quickly in about 30 minutes. I like the 21” inch, but it was too heavy for me to handle. The propel is nice to use when you need help with pushing the lawnmower, but when using the propel it use the battery up faster.

Hello Jaka. Thank you for sharing your feedback! We are glad to hear you found the mower easy to assemble and appreciated the quick battery charging. We understand that the weight and battery usage while using the self-propel feature can be a concern. Self-propelled mowers do use more battery since power is used to run both the blades and wheels, but they make mowing easier with less physical effort. You can also operate the mower without engaging the self-propel lever, which will extend battery life while still allowing you to push it manually. Your comments will be shared with our team. We hope you continue to enjoy your mowing experience! Should you have any further questions or warranty needs, please contact us directly through Live Chat on www.greenworkstools.com that will direct you to a Live agent or call us on Greenworks Pro toll-free helpline at 1-855-345-3934.

Powerful 80V motor doesn't bog down in normal grass. Side discharge shoots clippings evenly in a narrow strip so one must carefully plan overlapping cuts to spread the clippings evenly around the lawn. Quiet operation. Battery recharges in less than an hour so you can cut any size lawn with just two batteries. Self-propelled speed is very difficult to fine tune with the lever. Overall a very good investment particularly if you plan to buy other 80V tools. Greenworks customer support has been good at replacing defective charger etc. over the years.

I have arthritis so pulling motion to start hurts my shoulders. I was also tired of having to get gas/oil. Love this mower. Light. Easy to maneuver and mulches better than my gas mower. I own 2 of the snower blowers too. Long battery run time. Self propelled with adjustable speed and turbo mode for leaf pick up. Comes with bag. 80 volt way to go. My neighbor will be switching over to this awesome machine. Will never go back to gas.

I’ve used it 4 times. Battery last as long as states in the description. Cutting blades are very good. Adjustable height is accurate. Very easy to use. I do store the battery and charger in my house and not in the hot garage. That is the recommended way. So we will see in a year how well this holds up!

This is a beast. Also, much quieter than a gas mower.
I had to cut overgrown areas and it worked better than expected, I was sure it would stall but it never did, just listen for the motor, you can hear when it speeds to handle taller thicker areas.
Note that battery time is reduced when cutting excessively tall grass/weeds, using the self propelled feature on hills, or frequent stopping and starting (I have physical limitations). It starts up like a champ every time.
If it is difficult for you to start a gas mower, this is a good choice for small to medium lawns.
it folds up nicely to stand on the back and save space, just be sure to set the height to the lowest setting before folding the handle.
You may need to consider a second battery depending on the size of the lawn. or plan on mowing in sections to charge the battery.
