Was able to extend my trimming time and shortened the overall time it took to trim my hedges and shrubs.

But I understand you have to do that for idiots that might cut there fingers off or something else. Cuts branches about 3/4" thick no problem.

The battery will add ~3.48 lbs. This is our most powerful voltage line and operates similar to a gas unit without the inconvenience of a gas product such as maintenance and gas. As such the weight of the unit does take some getting used to, however, we do have a range of tools for a variety of household chore needs. Lighter units can be found in our 24V and 40V lines but of course, these products would come with reduced power. It took just 30 min to charge battery. I spent 3 times less time to trim bushes, that it would take with my old Black and Decker 40 volt hedge trimmer. Quality of work is great, much better, that I had before.
