      Hello Seth. We are sorry to hear you have experienced this issue, and we urge you to review our link below. Before performing maintenance, the power source must be disconnected, and customers are also encouraged to wear safety gloves. Keep your hedge trimmer blades free of dirt debris and rust. Routine maintenance is crucial and should be performed after each use. To clean the blade simply use a dry or very lightly dampened cloth. Wipe up and down the blade plate and blade to remove dust and debris. For thorough cleaning you should also wipe down each blade tooth individually. Once wiped down and free of loose debris apply a light machine oil to your second rag. Using the same motions as before wiping down the blade plate and blade teeth. During this step extra is required for the teeth. Ensure that the oil is being worked into each groove. Not only will this ensure proper performance, but it also helps to lift sticky residue left from trimming. Should the troubleshooting suggestion and video not yield result would like to hear how this occurred.     Not what I had anticipated…we’ve bought other items from this brand and had high hopes but was left less than impressed. The biggest let down is the lack of power.

    I read pretty well all reviews above three stars. I am leery of electric tools mainly due to poor Battery life. I decided to take a chance on this package and was very pleased. I gave the unused tool to my Gardener to try it out as he uses a gas powered one. He was amazed at how long the Battery lasts as I am. I will buy more tools made by this manufacturer and am happy to recommend it. Make sure you get the 80 Volt Battery - the Charger doesn't get hot and charges quickly. 10/10 so far.

    Great clipper. It might be a little heavy for some because it’s 80volts. Perhaps if it was 45 or 60 it might be a little lighter. Personally I’ll trade off the weight for the cutting ability. Looked other places for this tool, but nobody could beat the price I payed at Bestbuy.com

    A tad heavy, but also very heavy duty. Cut through thick/mature ornamental grass remnants like a table knife through soft butter; easy, fast & high volume. Yet to use on hedges & shrubs, but can already tell it's up to that task without hesitation. Loved not having to deal with, or worry about electrical cords!
