Monster of a trimmer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This arrived partially assembled, all we had to do was fold it open, attach the guard & shoulder strap & it was ready to use. All of the parts were included for assembly including the wrench. Battery comes with its own charger & was partially charged but it charged very quickly, seems to hold a charge quite well. The 80v battery makes it stronger & it cuts well. Our grass was very long , since it’s the first cut of the season, it zipped right through the long, thick grass quickly leaving a nice trimmed edge. This does not do edging. Because the battery is so large it adds a bit of weight to the trimmer, definitely recommend using the included shoulder strap because it puts weight on the shoulder & not your arms & makes it easier to hold. I can’t comment on how long the string lasts or how easy it is to wind since we haven’t had it long enough to find out. It was fairly easy to clean. Other than the size & weight of the battery, it’s a monster of a trimmer with a lot of power and a nice clean cut.
