Ordered Item Brand New & Product arrived damaged TWICE!

I've got to say when I got the Greenworks 80-volt cordless string trimmer. I was skeptical. But it runs very quietly and very powerfully. It has the power of a gas trimmer which I have always enjoyed using doing yard work. The 16-inch trimming diameter makes quick work of your trimming task. That helps because the battery comes in around 40 to 45 minutes, as advertised. But the charging time is relatively fast. It includes a massive charger to charge the large 2.0 Ah battery. I love the top-load design for the battery. I would have loved it even more with two batteries, but I'm in the market for an extra one. The included shoulder strap also is a very welcome accessory. This one will have you all in, helping you to stay eco-friendly and reduce your footprint. Greenworks is the trimmer to go for. This baby packs 80 volts of trimming power. The trimmer has a 0.80 dual-line bump feed so that you can go Non-Stop. And it has an easy load string system. That is one of the best features. Greenworks hit the mark in all areas to me except battery runtime. But not a deal breaker though.

My old gas trimmer finally died so I wanted to try a battery charged one. Although the gas trimmer had incredible power I am impressed with this Greenworks 80 volt. It certainly gets the job done-much quieter than the gas and holds a charge for quite a long time. Fast recharge as well.

Assembly of the trimmer was surprisingly quick and took less than fifteen minutes. The included, installation instructions are clear enough, but the attachable parts and design of the trimmer are sensible and obvious to those familiar or comfortable around tools. Fully assembled, the trimmer is quite long, and with the added weight of the Lithium-ion battery, you need to be mindful of the weight distribution while operating the machine. As with all hand-operated devices, there is a limit to how long you want to be performing the task, and this trimmer is no exception as it is somewhat hefty when fully assembled. That being said, cutting with the Greenworks string trimmer is very satisfying. Simply push the lock-out button on top and then hold the trigger on the bottom. Adjust the spinner speed on the fly from low to high at the push of a button as well. The trimmer cuts good lines along recently mowed side lawns, and even taller grass areas can be maintained well with this device. It helps to tilt the trimmer forward and toward the area to be trimmed. Over time, grass would get caught on the guards and the underside of the trimmer head, but it is easily reachable and wide enough to be cleaned and routinely maintained. In my testing, I did not need to replace the trimmer line, but the instructions provided are easy to follow when the need eventually arises. One unique aspect of the Greenworks line of products is its battery interchangeability, as this 80V battery and charger can be using with any other compatible Greenworks equipment. Moving the battery from this trimmer to my Greenworks blower is seamless and so convenient. This value-added benefit keeps me on task during routine lawn maintenance and allows me to go from equipment to equipment quickly and sensibly. Overall, I really like this Greenworks string trimmer. When it comes to battery-powered yard maintenance equipment, this product stands out for its convenience and reliability. On first use, it felt a lot longer and a bit heavier than I expected and took some getting used to, but it has a design that makes sense when used properly. When you respect and maintain the device, it will do what it's supposed to do for a very long time. The Greenworks string trimmer does it well.

Easy for me to use. I don't have much strength in my arms but was able to use.Lightweight and cuts good

Does a great job for smaller weeds and grass. The battery last longer than expected and plenty of power. Don’t expect this trimmer to tackle thick weeds like mustard, that’s around the size of your pinky finger. I’m going to try hex or star shape trimmer line when time to replace the stock twisted. Overall I’m happy and already referred two buyers

This weedeater is just as powerful if not more powerful than a gas powered. It will definitely grt the job done. Used normal size head, battery last pretty long. Only takes 45 minutes to charge.

I bought this trimmer a week ago and used it once. The trimmer is very powerful and easy to operate. Weight is OK, although the lighter the better. BUT, the problem is the battery. I used a timer to time how long the 2AH battery can last. On a full charge, the battery can only last ~19 minutes (the speed is set to 1). Very disappointing for me.

Great product! We have a huge yard (about an acre) but I was able to cut grass in 2 days. The battery lasts about 40 minutes. I will recommend this to anybody!

This was a purchase of Greenworks trimmer and as with all other tools in their produst line we are extremely pleased with the operation and ease of the battery powered tools.

Was kind of skeptical of an electric weed eater. Does everything I need it to do .

Overall very impressed, was hesitant that it wouldn't create enough power, but I am overall impressed with its performance thus far.

Easy to assemble, haven`t had to use it very long but when I have, I liked the way it performed.

I had a Greenworks Pro trimmer for 7 years- the longest I have ever had a string trimmer. It finally needed replacing and I bought this one- wow! It works even better! I love the easy winding feature that simplifies replacing string. Gert this one, you will love it! I know I do!
