This thing is a beast! Very powerful, in fact it’s more powerful than the gas unit I had (which crapped out after half a summer)! The 16 inch cutting path is huge and I needed to get use to it. The battery is easy to remove or install in the unit and will stay strong til it’s almost depleted. I had enough battery life for a fairly big yard but with lots of nooks and crannies to trim. Charges VERY fast

Bottom line, it's a good trimmer for the price, especially since it comes with another batter. We already have a Greenworks 80V mower, so getting a spare battery is a great bonus. But by itself, the trimmer is nice. Plenty of oomph to handy thick grass, and now heavy at all. Plus, it's so quiet and doesn't have fumes/smells up near your head.

I was pleasantly surprised at the power and performance of this trimmer. It lasted longer than I expected and has sufficient cutting power for me, and I was cutting weeds, not trimming grass. The weight of the unit is manageable, even with the 80V battery. I am glad I made the purchase. I am hoping it lasts a long time.

I bought this unit after getting fed up with my gas powered unit not starting for yet another season. I hated i waited so long to switch to electric! This unit was well balanced, easy to maneuver, and easily made quick work of my edging and trimming. Highly recommended, so much in fact I'm coming back to get the edger and blower soon!

What i like is the value and easy to put together and use. I also bought it because i purchased the lawn mower about 5 years ago and it is still running strong. I was hoping batteries were interchangeable but not the case! That was my only disappointment but the new battery looks better as well as charger now has a fan in it. They just keep making improvements. The other reason i stuck with green works is there support line. I was going to return thelaqn mower because i could not cut my lawn with single battery. So when i explained to support they sent me an additional battery at no cost. That is the single most important reason i stuck with them. They were very kind!

Awesome weedeater. My husband has had various brands and models through the years, both gas and electric with a cord. He says its the best one he has used. Time will tell how it holds up. We have 1 acre with fencing, buildings and landcaping. The battery lasts and its much quieter.

I stepped up to a more powerful trimmer with the Greenworks 80 volt. I have a large yard with fence and I got done without changing batteries. I'm a 68 year old women and the strap makes it very comfortable to use. It charges fast

Powerful weed trimmer works great!! It has variable speed trigger and you can select either high or low speed mode. Very quiet and lightweight. I love mine!

This is one great weed eater!! Quiet and strong and get the job done. Edges my lawn perfectly. I can turn it different ways and dont have to worry about fluid leaking like a gas powered one!!

The trimmer works as well as gas powered and the battery lasts quite a long time. It isn't too heavy and is well balanced to hold it while using. Much quieter than gas.

Whisper quiet (except for the wirring of the cutting string), super fast charger (louder than the trimmer when fan is running), with battery life to last.

Battery lasts a long time and is quick to recharge. Best warranty in it's field. Has great power and two speeds.

This is just as powerful as any gas-powered unit I have owned/used. Its super quiet but cuts through everything! I love it!

This is a powerful trimmer with a long battery life. I love the strap and it uses the same battery as my lawn mower is a perk. The only thing I don’t like is the shield is too small and I can get pelted with debris at times. Say goodbye bye to gas!

Coming from a stihl gas trimmer, this things a breeze to pickup and use. Had several greenworks 4ah batteries with my mower and thought I'd change to battery tools. Will say the 2ah battery is better than the 4ah in terms of balance. Also wish I could angle the trimmer a little more to get between flowerbed stones. May just be me getting used to it.

First time purchasing an electric tool and feel afraid if it doesn’t turn out well. However, it works great, powerful, perfectly and easy to use. Will buy an electric lawnmower and a blower from this brand soon. No regrets at all, price is also competitive.

Have a 60 volt grass trimer. This 80 volt grass trimer is for the farm, This is a game changer does a great job. No doubt it would. Their chain saw battery operated is a great tool to have also. Very much would recommend.
