Initial charge it lasted about 20 minutes, second charge about 45 minutes. Fairly simple to use, and setup was easy.

It is very powerful amd has speed adjustment. Rewinding is very simple and the battery last about an hour for moderate to heavy use

I love the convenience this item offers, the quick charging time of the battery, and the battery life it offers. My only complaint would be how heavy the item becomes once battery is inserted! I am 5' 4" and 160lbs so, without attaching the strap to place around my neck, I would struggle to use the item for any length of time. The handle is VERY long for my short stature. However, it makes short work of weeds and errant grass, and is a powerful piece of equipment.
