Its main draw is that you dont need to lift the snow. That being said its not great with even moderately wet snow and the battery does not last long.

Hello Mich. Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you appreciate the convenience of a cordless snow blower that eliminates the need to lift snow. For heavier or wet snow, single-stage models like this one can struggle. For those conditions, we recommend using a two-stage snow blower, which is better suited for wet, dense, or deep snow. Battery life can also vary depending on usage and snow conditions, so clearing smaller sections at a time helps optimize performance. We hope you will find this information useful. If you require any additional support or have questions regarding a product, we recommend try our Q&A section on product page or Chat with us direct on our website www.greenworkstools.com. Honestly it’s not worth buying a one stage battery snow blower. I bought it. It did not work for more than 2 inch of snow. It’s not worth in MN snow. The chute broke day 2 and I contacted customer service but it couldn’t be returned.

Don’t like it to hard to push. It’s like it should have wheels on front as well as back. Would make it easier to push. Wears a person out just holding it up and pushing it.

Hello Countrydarlin. Thank you for your feedback. The 80V 20" Snow Blower is a push-style unit with rear wheels, but it is not self-propelled, which can make it harder to push in heavier snow or on uneven surfaces. If ease of use is a priority, our 80V Dual-Stage Model include self-propelled rear wheels and zero-turn capabilities for easier maneuvering.
We appreciate your input and will share it with our product team as they consider ways to enhance maneuverability in future designs. We hope you find this information useful. Living in WI, having a snowblower is just about a must. Wanting to go green and have a snowblower? This might not be the right model for you. We just had a good amount of snow come down and I went out to clean in batches. The first part was a little wet and while it was only 2" it was very heavy. This particular model does not have a 2 stage thrower and it keep clogging up. Sometimes you can just shake the machine and it loosens the obstruction, other times you have to stop and poke into the machine :( Should you live in an area that gets little snow only and you do not have a lot of area to cover: this might be for you.

Hello VDubs - We are sorry to hear you were having issues with chute clogging. Depending on the condition of the snow it will stick to the chute. To reduce the issues with snow clogging you can use an ice repellent lubricant on the chute. To have the chute throw to the side, adjust the chute position by either manually moving the head or turning the control rod, and adjust the angle of the chute head manually to ensure that the chute throws at a lower distance instead of straight up. This may help. For customers who experience unit issues please contact us at your earliest convenience through the chatbot on Greenworks website or call Greenworks Pro toll-free helpline at 1-855-345-3934 to speak with a live agent. We would like the opportunity to speak with you to see if we can find a solution. GreenworksTools

Hello RondneyK. Thank you for sharing your experience. We are sorry to hear the directional chute is not functioning as it should. The distances at which snow is thrown is dependent on the type of snow. For example, light/fluffy snow will have a greater throwing distance in comparison to wet/heavy snowfalls. If you are using the unit in wet snow, adjust the height of the snow stream by raising the chute deflector, allowing the maximum amount of wet snow to be discharged. It also helps to keep a tool nearby that can be used to poke the ice/snow down when it gets clogged. Never put a tool in while the unit is running and make sure the impeller has completely stopped moving first. If you find that you are still experiencing an issue, please start a Live chat on Greenworks Tools website or call at 1-888-909-6757 for further troubleshooting. GreenworksTools

Hello user186963. Thank you for sharing your experience. When the auger blades encounter thick ice, they struggle to rotate, putting excessive strain on the motor which can lead to a sudden power draw and automatic shutdown. For best use in heavy snow types, you will want to move less at once and move a little quicker. Once a full pass has been completed, only move about a third of the width of the unit with each pass going forward. For very icy conditions, you might need to use a different snow removal method like a shovel or consider using a snow blower designed specifically for heavy ice.
