It worked great but the second time I used it it completely shut down during use. It was frustrating to say the least. I did all the troubleshooting ideas and nothing worked. Tried calling the company but they are not available on weekends. Called on a Monday waited on the line for a long time. Had to hang up. I had other important things to do also. I’ll be calling them back to see how they stand behind their product. I’ve used other green works tools before and never had any issues.

Hello user815633. We understand your frustration as we know your time is valuable. Our team has been working tirelessly to try and get to each waiting customer while giving everyone the attention their request requires and deserves. We want nothing less than to be able to assist our customers as quickly as possible. We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your pressure washer. Your review is not detailed enough for us to know what the issue is, but we will try to cover all bases. Here you will find some troubleshooting suggestions for you to try. Cleaning Obstructed Nozzles: To clean the nozzles, soak all your nozzles in a half and half mixture of warm water and white vinegar. Soak all the nozzles for about an hour and then proceed to poke your nozzle cleaning tool or paper clip through the end of the nozzle hole to poke out any debris. After you have done this, rinse them with warm water. Your nozzles will now be free of any obstructions causing the unit to fail to function normally. Removing Air from The Line / Bleeding Out the Unit: Purge any excess air from the pump. Set up the unit as per usual and ensure you are not using an extension cord. Remove any nozzle that may be connected at the end of the wand. Make sure that you have a green light on the GFCI on the power cord. Turn your garden hose on but leave the pressure washer turned OFF. With the pressure washer turned off, squeeze on the trigger for about 3 minutes – allowing the water to run through the unit at no pressure. In doing so, you are bleeding the unit out of any air that may be stuck in the pump. After 3 minutes, turn the unit on. If it is running, reinstall one of your clean nozzles and continue using the unit. Lastly, ensure that the water source is fully opened and is at least 30PSI. There should be 10' of unrestricted garden hose between the hose connection and the unit, any kinks will prevent the flow of water going into the unit and prevent proper pressure. If you have tried these steps and are still experiencing issues, please contact Greenworks at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS). All we ask that you have access to the unit so that we can complete troubleshooting with you and gather necessary unit information, and we will be happy to assist with the warranty claims process. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and look forward to speaking to you. GreenworksTools

works great, enough power for my use the reason i gave 1 stars is I ordered this brand new somehow the HOSE HOOK is missing (brand new?), went to bestbuy to ask for replacement and they gave the run around to waste my time. Tried Greenworks online to no avail, so decided to keep it. My next question is if the machine broke who is going to help me????? i am not going to shop at bestbuy again.

Hello RobZ - We are sorry that you are having an issue with one of our products! With the spring season here, so is our busiest time of year which unfortunately means increased wait times. It sounds as though your nozzles may be clogged or there is some air trapped in the unit, these are common issues. With the following troubleshooting, this should be resolved! Please be sure to follow closely as these steps are not as effective when altered.
      1) To clean the nozzles, soak all your nozzles in a half and half mixture of warm water and white vinegar. Soak all the nozzles for about an hour and then proceed to poke your nozzle cleaning tool or paper clip through the end of the nozzle hole to poke out any debris. After you have done this, rinse them with warm water. Your nozzles will now be free of any obstructions causing the unit to malfunction.
      2) Purge any excess air from the pump.
      3) Ensure that the water source is fully opened and is at least 30PSI.
      4) There should be 10' of unrestricted garden hose between the hose connection and the unit, any kinks will prevent the flow of water going into the unit and prevent proper pressure.
