Hello JenniferL. We are sorry to hear of the issue you are experiencing. The pressure washer should be connected to a power supply that is 120V, 60 Hz, AC only (household). A considerable voltage drop will cause a loss of power and the motor will overheat. Please try the following steps:
      1) To clean the nozzles, soak all your nozzles in a half and half mixture of warm water and white vinegar. Soak all the nozzles for about an hour and then proceed to poke your nozzle cleaning tool or paper clip through the end of the nozzle hole to poke out any debris. After you have done this, rinse them with warm water. Your nozzles will now be free of any obstructions causing the unit to malfunction.
      2) Purge any excess air from the pump. Set up the unit as per usual and ensure you are not using an extension cord. Remove any nozzle that may be connected at the end of the wand. Make sure that you have a green light on the GFCI on the power cord. Turn your garden hose on but leave the pressure washer turned OFF. With the pressure washer turned off, squeeze on the trigger for about 3 minutes – allowing the water to run through the unit at no pressure. In doing so, you are bleeding the unit out of any air that may be stuck in the pump. After 3 minutes, turn the unit on. If it is running, reinstall one of your clean nozzles and continue using the unit.
      3) Ensure that the water source is fully opened and is at least 45PSI.
      4) There should be 10' of unrestricted garden hose between the hose connection and the unit, any kinks will prevent the flow of water going into the unit and prevent proper pressure.

I'm very impressed with this machine, and it's useful in more ways you never even imagined. So far, I've used it to wash my motorcycle, car and side by side and clean the concrete in my driveway and my motocross boots. Unlike other pressure washers I've tried this one delivers much more water so it takes much less time to actually clean something. It comes with an impressively long cord which wraps up neatly on the machine and it also has a long hose. The only thing I wish it had was a notch on the cord to connect the loose end of the cord so the end doesn't hang loose. Unboxing and setting this machine up was super easy. Basically, you just attach the handle and plastic cord wrap pieces and then attach the hose/sprayer components and you're ready to go. You will need a screwdriver but other than that it's super easy to assemble! Surprisingly, this machine is not that heavy and the big wheels make it easy to move around and it's design lets you stand it up while it's storage, taking up much less space. The first thing I noticed, is the quality of the components and machine itself seems very solid. It comes with different nozzles so you can have the appropriate spray for the job you're working on. Where this delivers such high pressure, it's very important to know that it can and will damage things that you put too close to the sprayer nozzle! This machine delivers very high pressure and warnings should be observed. The soap tank is awesome!! It's big and works well to inject it into the wash, just like you were at the carwash except that you can use it anywhere around your home or shop to clean just about anything. I'd absolutely recommend this machine for it's features and small storage footprint- especially where it holds all of it's attachments, cords, hoses and accessories eliminating clutter!

Hello AmyY - We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your pressure washer. Unfortunately, your review is not detailed enough for us to know what the issue is, but we will try to cover all bases. Here you will find some troubleshooting suggestions for you to try. Cleaning Obstructed Nozzles: To clean the nozzles, soak all your nozzles in a half and half mixture of warm water and white vinegar. Removing Air from The Line / Bleeding Out the Unit: Purge any excess air from the pump. Lastly, ensure that the water source is fully opened and is at least 60 PSI. There should be 10' of unrestricted garden hose between the hose connection and the unit, any kinks will prevent the flow of water going into the unit and prevent proper pressure. This is a very impressive pressure washer. It certainly beats the Ryobi unit I sent to the county recycling center. It has good pressure, a great design for ease of moving, and upright storage in the garage. Both the power cord and the hose are of adequate length to handle nearly any use I might plan.

Hello Whisky. We are sorry to hear about this issue! Often, this would be caused by a faulty nozzle, or the unit not being bled of excess air in the line. Here is some troubleshooting below! Be sure to try all steps as described.

I was really impressed with the Greenworks 3000 PSI Pro Electric Pressure Washer, this is my first electric pressure washer and it as at least as powerful, or more, than previous gas pressure washers I have used. The best part is that this is so much more quieter and less annoying to use than a traditional gas pressure washer. The included tips, the long cord/hose, and the good sized detergent tank make this a great choice for work around the house and makes quick work of any cleaning job you may need to do. This is not a professional or industrial pressure washer, so if you need that kind of work then I would look elsewhere, but for pretty much any work you may need to do around the house or on your vehicles this is a perfect fit. I spent a weekend using this to clean up various things around my house, camping gear, patio, cleaning the car, and a few other tasks/chores and I was really impressed with the performance that this pressure washer is capable of. I had no issues getting these tasks done and without feeling the fatigue from the loud annoying gas motor of a traditional pressure washer. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to get a pressure washer for use around their house.

I have a gas pressure washer that I've been using for a couple of years now although I've been looking into the electric models. My gas model is about 2400 PSI and is extremely loud, requires gas and some annual maintenance. When i saw this, I wanted to give it a try. Setup was pretty simple, with the instructions and took about 10 minutes after unboxing everything. It's about the same size as my existing one and can actually be stored by sitting it upright on the front bar. The soap tank is pretty large and I like that I can visibly see how much is left unlike my gas model. The water pressure is great and it comes with five different tips depending on your preferred use. All of the tips can be stored onboard so they wont be lost. It has a 25 foot hose and the power cord is 35 feet in length. I really like how simple it is to power on. No priming or pulling a cord to get it going. You simply press the power button on the top of the tank and it's up and running. Simple and easy. I was a little surprised at how loud it was, but it's still quieter than my gas model. All in all, I am very happy with this pressure washer and definitely recommend it.

Over the years I've acquired and used four other power washers (Archer, Sunny Joe, a gasoline powered one, and most recently before this a PowerHouse.) I read as many comparison reviews as I can looking for consensus opinions of the best. Never is there unanimity. It makes me suspect each review source has a special dog in the fight, probably by one of the manufactures who greased the palms of the reviewers. To me the most egregious example of that was when I had read a dozen or so reviews before purchasing this Greenworks model. I especially liked the fact it had the highest proclaimed PSI. I was continually annoyed by other reviews who always found a reason to rank some other brand their highest. Despite that kind of thing, Greenworks was the one most often mentioned in the top choices, even if not 1st choice. Finally there was one review that didn't give it five stars or whatever even though it admitted it likely had the most power. Their one lame excuse was that because it laid flat it was hard to lift over curbs and so on, That convinced me they had had to trump up a reason not to honestly rate it compared to whatever the lesser brand who they deemed the best was. The fact it has a handle enabling it to be handled like a load on dolly makes it probably the easiest of all to pull up stairs or over a curb. For that reason alone I prefer the power washer over all the other ones I had to lift and carry to move them around. Even the ones with wheels intended to allow it to be rolled were terrible in that respect. Small wheels that had not intention of rolling cooperatively and were virtually impossible anyway with hoses, electrical cords, and attachments hanging off them. THIS THE BEST POWER WASHER I'VE OWNED It's the most powerful, quietest, and has the best provisions for the hose and cord. Being able to roll it around with such firm control is priceless. It stands up bringing all the attachments within convenient reach and lays back down again so tension on the hose doesn't pull it over. The machine is a beauty well thought out in every detail. Maybe a little firmer retention for the gun handle while moving the cart would be one small thing if a person has a compulsion to always have at least one thing to knitpick about, which I don't. One other small perk to finish this off with - its green color is beautiful. * * * Darn! Just noticed a photo desired. I wish I had taken before and afters. 2 days I used the turbo tip to clean out all the seams in a large cement drive area that become over run with vegetation (weeds). The job this machine did was terrific.

Hello Clee33. We are sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with this Greenworks 3000 PSI Pressure Washer. This pressure washer will be a very useful tool for cleaning your siding on your house. If your pressure washer has no pressure, start by changing your nozzle to a brand-new tip. The nozzle orifice size is what will determine the pressure output of your machine. The tips that come with this unit will likely only effectively reach 8 - 10' with adequate pressure. There are two tips sold at big box store which are pink and blue in color. These tips are meant for second story use. We recommend buying the second story kit to provide more effective coverage. There may be air pockets or debris in the unit causing the cut off. When this occurs, we recommend to 'bleed' out the unit. This is done by having the water source connected and on, the pressure washer remains off and remove any nozzles tips. From there you will hold the trigger for 2-3 minutes to let the waters naturally flow through the unit. When this is complete, you can start the unit up again and, you should have a steady stream. If you are still experiencing issues, please do not hesitate to contact us directly through the Greenworks website on chat which will direct you to a live agent or call us directly at 1-888-90-WORKS (888.909.6757) to speak with a live agent to better assist you. The Greenworks Pro is our third electric pressure washer and if you’ll pardon the expression, it leaves the others in the dust. Assembly is surprisingly easy. You’ll just need a Phillips screwdriver. All the difficult parts are preassembled. The engine and large wheels are attached already, you just attach the handle, nozzle holder panel, and the holders for the hose, spray gun, and the power cord. The different size screws are in the bag with each attachment, so you can’t go wrong. You’re now ready to go. Just one important rule. You need to run the water through the hose and nozzle before turning on the power to make sure all the air is out. You don’t want to ever turn on the power without a solid stream of water available. You’re then ready to clean. It comes with five different nozzle attachments, three with different fan width tips, one soap spray tip and a turbo tip when you’re really serious about cleaning. The Greenworks Pro was powerful enough to clean most of the dirt off our sidewalk with even the widest, lowest pressure tip, but you’ll know if you need more power the other tips are available, you just remove the old tip and pop on the new one, it takes less than 10 seconds. I love the design of the unit. In normal use, it sits horizontally on the ground, but you can store it vertically if you have limited space in your garage as I do. Rolling it away is very easy with its big wheels. Another advantage over our older electric pressure washers is its hose is much more flexible than the others. It was more difficult to coil up those hoses on those machines. About the only negative I could find at first use, is the port for your garden hose is in a tight space between the metal stand and the wheels. It wasn’t bad connecting the hose for the first use but when putting everything away it was more difficult to get leverage to remove the hose after a day of cleaning. The hose tends to take more effort to remove after use. Bottom line though, I love this unit. I’ve never had a gas powered washer but from what I hear, the only reason people purchased a gas unit is they needed more power, and at 3000 PSI, for home use, this is most likely all you’ll need.

Spent lots of time reading reviews pros and cons. Chose the Greenworks 3000psi. It was easy to assemble. Extremely pleased with it. Have powerwashed the patio, front porch, the driveway and a small deck. I also ordered the 15 inch surface cleaner which cleans faster and uses less water than just using one of the tips. Customer service was very helpful in registering my purchases and prompt in answering my call.

Love this machine... Have owned gas for so long and they are so temperamental. You never know is they'll last 1 year or 5 years but they'll fail eventually. I decided i wanted electric to replace my gas one that broke. I seriously love this machine and it works great. Super impressed by it's performance but.....The pressure hose is the most annoying thing ever. It folds on itself constantly. The only way to unfold it is to turn the machine off and straighten it back out. Turn it back on and it will not be too long before it's a problem again. Other issue is that the black hose leaves black residue on white railings which cannot be powered washed off. Bottom line is machine is great. I hope it lasts but who knows. Pressure hose is annoying and infuriating. I plan to replace with a better hose which shouldn't be necessary.

Sometimes, you just don't think you needed something until you finally decide to get one and start using it, then it's like the best thing ever! It seems that I've gone through this process a lot over the years, and this time, it involved a pressure washer. The closest things we had to a pressure washer were the "Jet" mode on the hose sprayer, and a homemade washer, which was a long PVC pipe, with a cap glued on the end that had a small hole drilled in it. Those worked somewhat, but never completely. So, not wanting to take a chance on not having enough power, I went with the Greenworks 3000 PSI Pro Electric Pressure Washer. About 15 minutes after unboxing and assembling the handle & wand/hose storage. It was ready to go! With it being a Pro version, it has a 14A brushless motor (which most electronic/cordless tools are moving towards) to crank out up to 3,000 PSI. It comes with 5 quick-connect nozzles (Turbo, soap dispenser, 15° fan, 25° fan, and 40° fan) and a 25-ft hose. The 35-ft power-supply cord does have a built-in GFCI in the plug for safety. At just over 50lbs, it isn't a lightweight. Thank goodness for the 10" wheels to help move it around. For storing, it can be tipped up on the front end, so there is a smaller footprint. When starting to use it, please be sure to read the instructions on how to basically "prime" the system, which involves turning on the water and squeezing the trigger to get out any air in the hoses BEFORE turning the motor on (which is done with a press of the button on top of the motor). Then done using it, turn motor off, then squeeze the trigger to release any remaining built-up pressure. We've lived in our house for about 7.5 years (built new), an even in that somewhat short amount of time, it is crazy how much almost everything can get coated. Our recessed/enclosed front porch seems to be the worst, with it being northwest-facing, so almost every storm blows everything in there. Then there are the dirt daubers building nests everywhere along with the barn swallows that like to build their nest in there every year (and leave huge mess below). Using the 25° fan, I started to go after everything, and it definitely took care of everything! What surprised me a bit at first was the amount of air movement that is causes while the spray is going. It can make you feel like you are in a windy rain storm (especially in an enclosed space, so be prepared to get a little wet). The tons of dauber nests from the last few years were gone quickly, along with the bird mess (some leftover from last couple of years that didn't come up with our other "washers", and the new from this year). I used the 40° fan to do a final rinsed down to push the rest of the water and dirt/muck off. I'm starting to think the porch has never been this clean! (And this was all water-only) Next, I went after our SUV, which took on a barrage of insects on a recent road trip out in the country. Again, with water-only, I was able to get probably 95-97% of it all removed. If anything, it as a great improvement. I also power-rinsed all the dirt from the sides and the wheels. I will definitely be getting some pressure washer detergent (biodegradable/environmentally safe, since, you know…) and not take the trips to the car was anymore. When using detergent, the washer has a 1-gallon tank. If using concentrated (which most are), be sure to follow the instructions for diluting before adding to the tank. To apply the detergent, this is only able to be done using the Soap nozzle. Just apply, and while it is soaking for a few minutes, switch over to the pressure wash nozzle of choice. I only have a couple of non-functionality-related issues. The first one I had was with how it was packed. Generally, it was fine, but there was an air bubble pack that was on top, but it was not inflated. With the condition of the box (in that area) by the time it was delivered, I'm glad that nothing was damaged (especially with the Start button). The nozzle storage plate was slightly warped but straightened out just fine after installing the screws. The other issue is with the power cord storage. It does have cord-wrap hooks that work great, but there is no "cord clip" near the end to hold it in place. While it shouldn't be a huge issue, it does make the last 12" or so hard to keep in place, especially with the GFCI control box right there as well (and it isn't small). If that starts to be a big issue, I do at least have some hook & loop organization straps that I can use. I took off .25 star for that, but it still rounds back up to a 5. :) So, if you are looking to finally get a pressure washer (or have ever had thoughts about getting a pressure washer), definitely put this one on your list of ones to look at!

Works really well... Bought to replace a gasoline pressure washer. Used with surface cleaner, and it worked great on large driveway. Quiet compared to gasoline one!

SO easy to use! Helped me knock out several projects that I had been dreading. Powerful pressure got them done fast and I was off to other things!

Does a great job holding pressure for a long time. Not as noisy as I expected it to be.
