Customers express satisfaction with the Black/ Survivor All-Terrain Case's high level of protection and ease of use. Many appreciate the case's good fit, reasonable price, and the included belt clip. However, some users find the screen protector and bulkiness to be drawbacks, and charging the iPod while the case is on presents challenges.

This is a very nice durable case for the 5th gen iPod Touch. Easy to assemble. The silicone edges are hefty enough and provide serious bump/drop protection.

I will always HIGHLY recommend that consumers put ANY technology devices in a protective case, even if it makes them somewhat bulky. I personally put investment above aesthetics in these situations. True, my new iPod Touch 6th Gen looks a bit like a very small black brick rather then an ultra-slim high tech player, but I have little fear if could handle any future bumps and bruises to protect the device and my music inventory it contains.
The texture provides a great grip (without being a 'dust magnet'), and the case fits the device in a snug fashion. The cutouts are aligned well with the ports/lens, and the onscreen swipe doesn't seem to be affected at all by the in built-in cover.
The cover for the lightening port is a wee bit of a frustration by design, but I know the purpose of the case is to protect from the elements, so it's something I just need to accept and live with. The flap for covering the lens is similar to earlier Griffin versions in that you have to be very careful with twisting it off and around to avoid having it block part of the lens, thus showing up in the picture/video. The button covers for Power and Volume are really nice, and don't hamper the use of those buttons at all.
The only reason I purchased the newest version of case is because iPod Touch 6th Gen doesn't have a wrist strap connection and any cut-out of earlier cases would leave an opening for dirt and moisture.
Very easy to recommend this product to others, but only if you are willing to protect your music player investment with a bit of bulk (but high quality bulk).

This Griffin Technology product adheres to their quality workmanship standards. It fits snugly on my new iPod Touch. The soft rubber sides offer the user a nice touch and grip, therefore it is unlikely to drop due to slipping out of your hand. Be aware that the protective screen must be quite thick as it requires the user to press quite hard on it to activate the iPod Touch touchscreen.

At first, I wasn't a fan of this product. I didn't like how it covered the color of my iPod, and how it wasn't easy to put on my iPod. It has grown on me since it has done a really good job of protecting my iPod from my 2 small children. I have dropped it and so have they, and it has not gotten scratched or broken. I don't keep the screen protector on, because it made the iPod more difficult to use, but I will use the screen protector when I take my iPod to the beach. I would tell someone that buys this product to remember to take the camera cover off before taking pics. Sometimes I forget that there is a protective cover on it and think that my iPod's camera is broken.

The case definitely adds bulk to your device, but it seems like it would be great protection if it ever gets dropped. We didn't use the screen protector because it interfered with the use of the screen (not all the time, but enough that it was annoying), but everything else is great.

It was the lowest priced case that I found, for what I needed it for. The case is very tough and easy to hold. It's just hard getting it out and the removable cover doesn't sit flush with the corners of the screen, so it's hard to touch around the corners.

We bought this for our youngest to go with her new ipod. It fits snug and seems to protect it when it has been dropped. It is a good product and worth the money. The only con we have is that it's not the easiest to charge while the case is on.

I purchased a case like this for my 4th generation iPod touch, and it worked great. It got sprayed with water and droped on several occations and it fit very well. So I purchased the similar case for my 5th generation iPod Touch. It fits well, but the rubber on the front at the top and bottem face doesn't stay fitted to the cae. and the rubber over the button doesn't even touch it untill it's pressed. The cover over the rear camera is easier to use, and the belt clip is beefier than the previous version. And you can actually hear the iPod without the ear buds. Overall I'd recomend it, but I think the quality leave's some to be desired.

I got the 6th generation iPod touch for Christmas. I was searching for a best case that will protect my iPod from scratching and dents. My sister recommended me this Griffin Technology-Survivor case. I looked everywhere for the 6th generation, but all I see was the 5th generation case. I was hesitant because I'm not sure if it's going to fit but it did perfectly. So far, it protects my iPod. I highly recommend this case.

Bought this case for my grandson to use with his Ipod Touch. Fits very good. Surrounds the iPod with a lot of protection and helps to make the IPod easier for small hands to hold. The only thing I have noticed is the shield that covers the face sometimes makes it less sensitive to the touch. May take an additional tap or two to choose what you want.

I bought this for my sons' iPod. With my active kids this has been a great find. With a clear cover already on, it is easy for him to travel with it. You will like the cases easy grip and it does not slip. The iPod has been dropped and spilled on several times since Christmas and out of the case it is still perfect. I would will buy this case for my next child when they are old enough.

This is the second Griffin case that I've purchased for my iPod--after owning my previous Griffin nearly a year, it started to wear out due to frequent use. I have heard more bad than good about the cases, but for me, they've benefitted me greatly! First off, I like the flap that protects the camera lens. Whenever I use the camera, I simply remove it and swing it clockwise to the side so it doesn't fall back on the lens. Otterboxes don't have such protection for the camera. I also like the belt-clip/kickstand better than the lanyard on the Otterboxes. Griffin must have improved the quality of materials on their cases--I was able to hear music loud and clear through the speaker covering, and the case itself is of a harder, more durable material. And I had absoutely no problems installing my iPod in the case--you have follow the directions for installation and removal VERY CAREFULLY! In fact, I sit on my bed when I do this!
I only dropped the iPod once while in the case, and nothing happened to it or the case! This type of case is great for kids to have, as I recommended it to my friends who got their kids iPods--and they think they are a huge investment-saver. All in all, when it comes to a highly fragile item like the iPod, the Griffin case is your best bet. By the way, I'm not a hunter, but I do like camo. I'm not a frilly girly-girl!

This was purchased for my son's new ipod. It fits perfectly, and protects well. It protects the screen, as well as the body of the ipod. It makes the ipod very chunky but my son likes that. It is lightweight, yet strong. The only negative--it is hard to remove once it is on the device (we only removed it to clean it after he spilled some dinner on it). Overall, great.
