This item was purchased as a birthday gift for an 11-yr-old girl whom had just received a new iPod touch (with no case). Although the child picked the item for its "cute" appearance, I agreed and purchased it because of its design, high-quality material composition, functionality, protective features, cuteness, and ability to be cleaned and installed/removed easily. The child has already put the item to its use by dropping the iPod on a concrete surface and the monkey's "ears" and "feet" protected all 4 corners -- no damage! The case appears to be constructed of heavy-duty rubber/silicone, and the corners are well protected by ears and feet, and the case covers all edges of the device, with perfectly aligned cut-outs for all buttons.

great case for kids, fits perfectly and seems to protect equipment, also fits on an ipod.

Daughter bought this for her new iPod touch. She was immediately attracted to its style. Cut features and rubber helps to keep it in your hands. My only complaint is local Best Buy only had this one and no other animals. Went 3 months later and still only the penguin. Wish they had more selection but may just be an issue with my local store
