Works just as advertised. When you're handed the AUX cable you have a duty to set that car on fire with good music. So if you get laughed at, it'll be your taste in music, not the quality of the sound, because this cable handles it all.

Went to Best Buy to find a tough braided cable. Clerk recommended the Griffin survivor. This is a braided cord contained in a plastic covering. The ends are super reinforced. This cable is virtually indestructible and the LAST cable you will ever buy.

This cable is awesome. It's the only cable that fits my new phone case (has little hole for the head). I've tugged on it a couple times and works perfectly still. Previous ones I bought I would have to wiggle them. Not with this one.

I have been through a lot of auxiliary cords, this Griffin is the toughest one yet. The cord itself is durable. The portion covering the plug popped off accidentally BUT it slid right back on, I believe it comes off for repair/replacement

They may very well be right by naming this the survivor auxiliary. It’s built tough, it has a thick plastic shell surrounding the mesh that covers the wires. This is a great product by Griffin.

This cable seems much sturdier than the 2 previous 2 I purchased from Best Buy. Neither of the previous 2 lasted very long. I recommend shelling out the extra few dollars for what is hopefully a better product.

I purchased this for my daughter who had worn out other cables. This one is working well and seems like it should last. It's a bit bulky in the car compared to others but that's to be expected.

Bought a cheap cable for 7.99 from another store thinking it would do the trick to replace the one that came with the headphones. Was I wrong. This cable totally made a great difference in the sound. It's great!

Most towards the city will work but usually in the end they cut out break boards at the destroyed but this cord differently it holds up to the warranty and deliver on the promises that I made it in the packaging

I love this cord. I've had too many cords in the past that break or separate (even ones from Griffin). This ones keeps it together and seems sturdy even if I'm rough with it. Good Design and durable.

This auxiliary cable has very stout connectors on both ends. Also it has a clear sleeve over the interior braided cable. Definitely one of the better aux cables on the market.

Purchased this cord to connect my phone to speakers and my wife's car stereo. They are heavy duty and should last for a long time. They appear much better than other cords of comparable price.

Put simply, the cord is very well guarded by the nylon and plastic casing on it. The ends are very strong with metal protecting where the ends meet the 3.5mm connector.
