not a good case

Too Bulky

Also the plastic cover that went over the screen seemed to take away some of the touch responsiveness of the screen. I actually returned it after using for a day.

bad case

I am concerned about the heat that builds up in the tablet and case after it runs for awhile. My tablet shutdown after a few hours of use and was quite warm to the touch. I was not able to reclaim the tablet till the next morning. Not sure if this is Samsung problem or the griffin case. Good case, just some food for thought

Poor design

The case is not nearly as sturdy as it appears. This is not equivalent to an Otterbox even though it is priced nearly the same. The plastic is very lightweight. The rubber cover is very thin and is not separate from the plastic shell. The most troubling issue, however, is that the plastic screen cover does not sit flush against the screen. This is only an annoyance near the center of the screen. Closer to the edge, however, the gap is greater. As a result, extra effort is required to select an on-screen button or press a key on the on-screen keyboard. This makes typing very difficult. I will be returning this item.
