I got the 5th generation touch and this case for it and it even fit the strap the touch comes with. I have not dropped it but I do feel it protects it very well. It has a plastic back to insert the ipod in, it has a clear screen protector you have to adhere to the screen, then the thick jelly cover that goes over the plastic back and ipod that fits it like a glove. It is nice, soft to touch and mega easy to carry around specially with the ipods strap I attached to it. Recommended and the price is not bad either.

However, with that case, I had a hard time pressing down on the screen. Overall, I love this case and enjoy using it.

This product has a hard plastic case, which is then covered in a nice feeling black silicone-type cover, and includes a screen protector as well. My only beef: the hard plastic cover has a tab that interferes with docking on a Bose. I trimmed the tab off and it works fine now. However, it will not work with both the hard and soft cases on at the same time. But soft case is easy to remove.
