I love rocking out on guitar hero, I take it with me when I go on trips. I jad to buy an adapter to hook it up to tv's that dont have hdmi, but that was the only extra thing I had to do. Regardless a great buy.

my kids are occupied & happy and music that I actually like fills the house. Good degree of difficulty, I will never beat this at it's top level. Ever. Strong song selection, leans toward heavier tracks.

The game is good. Enjoy it a lot. The guitar is not made to last though. It is prone to breaking, squeaking, and sticking. The quality is very bad

It's a good game and has some good features. I myself miss the old guitar and a button was glitchy outside the box, but it is fun overall.

I used to play GH a lot but it got old and repditive after a while so i disnt play any in the series for years. Glad i decided to try this one as they changed it up a lot. 6 frets, music videos, and playing in front of crowds is definetly more fun then the old 4 fret 50 song choice. Would recommend this for anyone that is intersted.

this is a great game with more of a "live" feel. Wish it was slightly more kid friendly because my 10 yo loves to play.

The new mechanics are nice, but everybody is cheaping out with the songs and Activision isn't helping. Having access to every new song via subscription is okay, when the standard song that come with the game are lacking and the campaign is lazy.

Fun game but why make you play songs you don't like to unlock other songs? Should just sell with them all unlocked.

My son really loves guitars but doesn't know how to play. So he was really excited about having his own. He was also eager to learn how to play it with his Wii U.

This new guitar is more challenging than the last. The 3x2 pattern is a new concept to learn and adds a welcome challenge to the "music game" segment.

This is the best guitar hero game I have ever played, new guitar controller with black and white fret buttons, songs, and stuff.

I thought this would be more difficult due to the new more realistic guitars. It's just like old times.. but different, not harder not easier, just different. I personally think the new guitar is better! Absolutely love the game play. Recommended for those who want to shred!

I was able to snag this on the cheap, which is good because I found my enjoyment of it pretty limited. I was jonesing for the good old days when Guitar Hero first came out, so I was pretty pumped to pick this up. As a game, it worked fine, the guitar was fine, and it was fun to play. For a little bit. It didn't take long for the experience to get stale. I don't know if that had more to do with the repetitiveness of the game itself or the bland song catalog. If you are/were a big fan of the original, I would definitely recommend waiting for a super sale to pick this one up.

I enjoyed the different guitar with the 3 up, 3 down buttons. It's different, but still fun game.
