These are decent protection from blue light but the magnification is not always necessary. I bought them for my son but he doesn’t like the magnification in them or the yellowish color glass. It’s not the greatest brand in blue light glasses but it works. I like the Cyxus brand better and they are clear instead of bright yellow.

Works great i would highly recommend getting it if you have issues with blue light. They are a touch snug but otherwise perfect.

Sometimes a bit tight on the side of my head. Its is good quality besides that. I have a normal size head, believe I wear a 7 1/4 hat.

They're a little more expensive than I would have liked, but I was doing some marathon gaming sessions there for a bit and definitely noticing the eye fatigue. I definitely noticed the difference with these.
Not sure I would recommend to someone who is on the fence about them though because they just sit in their case by my computer now that I am not marathon gaming so much any more. I rarely use them. If you're staring at computer screens for 10+ hours a day multiple days a week it's probably worth it.

These glasses are so cool and so helpful serving as an eye support device, they have been used for hours of screen time and are truly amazing for eye strain, they are a little pricey, get a pair they are worth it.

During this quarantine, like many I assume, I've been playing much more hours and hours of games on my PC. I could really feel the strain on my eyes and the dryness was completely killing me. So I decided to test out a pair of "gamer glasses". I initially was going to go with an off brand cheap pair of the website thats named after a river, but wanted to see the quality and build of a company that specializes in it, Gunnar. Luckily for me Best Buy had a sale on this pair. Picked them up and was excited to test them out. Right out the box, BOTH LENSES WERE POPPED OUT. I heard the rattling but just assumed it was like a warranty card or something. I could not believe it. So there I am popping the lenses back in place one by one trying not to warp the frame. I was very upset because I wear glasses when I'm not wearing contacts and scratches on lenses are the worst. They irritate and bother your sight, so for the lenses to be just rattling away I assumed the worst. Luckily there were no scratches.
I put on the glasses and noticed a much clearer picture, specifically in the sharpness of everything. The tiny magnification and yellow tint really sharpen everything. I'm not saying I got super vision, but a notable change for the better was seen.
For the strain while gaming, I did notice my eyes were much less tired after 4-6 hour sessions. Which was great! But the label did say that it was supposed to assist in the dryness and that didn't happen whatsoever. My eye's were still constantly getting dry and irritated. BUT I do wear contacts and that could be the culprit.
With these glasses on, I feel like I could easily pull more than 6 hour gaming sessions without the eye fatigue that I was experiencing before. Although I am giving them 3 stars only to the fact that the frame feel extremely cheap. They're plastic that feels like with minimal force, could snap right off. Also, the lenses were popped off before opening the package.
Overall, great glasses for eye fatigue!
Beware of popped lenses.
Feels cheap.
Nice stylish look.
But not worth $50-$60.
I will be going to the river for the off brands that are substantially cheaper.

I heard about these a while back but hesitated to buy a pair due to price. Best Buy had a pair marked down so I decided to give them a try. These make working in front of a screen all day much easier and tolerable.
The unique tint and lens coating really make a huge difference. Before getting these, I had to invert my display and dim the lights to help with eyestrain. Now, I use standard color displays and full lighting with no problems. I haven't actually tried them for gaming yet but I'm sure they will help.
One thing to note is that they have a slight magnification (+0.2) which is optimized for viewing a monitor but is NOT good for driving. The lenses look similar to night driving glasses but I tried and it was not something I'll be doing again. Use them for computer work (programming, graphics, etc) and you will be pleased.

I bought the glasses hoping they would improve my vision or at least stop my decline due to using a computer all day. I started to wear them and they worked just fine. I notice that they do distort long distance viewing, otherwise I'd wear them all of the time. Simply because they distort long distance vision I came to the conclusion that they probably aren't good for the eyes if you cannot use them no matter what situation. Why do I think this? Every pair of non prescription glasses do the same thing, they allow you to view through them without distorting close or distant object. Sunglasses being my primary example. These glasses however, distort images in the distance so I'd have to say they have some degree of visual alteration not just a color filter to help with computer viewing. I am not prepared to test this theory on whether or not this could be good or bad for me, so I just decided to stop wearing them. If you would like them, they are in great condition and I'd sell them for half price simply to get rid of them and get something back on it seeing as how I am out of my 90 day return.
So why did I rate them a 4, which means "Good"? Because minus my analyzations on the potential to ruin my vision in the long run, they work quite well.

These glasses make life a lot easier when looking at a screen. I have to be on my computer for 8+ hours a day and these glasses make it where there is a lot less stress on my eyes and I have much less headaches by the end of the day.

I am a Software Engineer so spend a lot of time (8-10 hours) sitting in front of the computer. Found that I was squinting a lot and having issues with eye strain. These glasses have really helped. This particular ones are a little uncomfortable because of their weight, but much more comfortable than was expected.

Great pair of gaming or just day to day computer use. Love these glasses and these are much more improved and durable than the first generation i had over 4 yrs ago. Trying to convince my sis to get these or other Gunnar brands cause shes always borrowing mine for her homework. I've taken these glasses to pistol range and they actually perform very well for that kind of use and clarity for target practice.
I do notice after an hour or two of use i have to remove them because it hurts my eyes. I just think it's because it magnifies the screen so your eyes are not used to that and they make your eyes have to adjust to the magnification in the glasses. Of course they are not that bad but had to let you know so you're not surprised when you can relate to my review. Regardless i love them!

Whether these glasses are used for reading, watching tv, or gaming, they are excellent for preventing your eyes from getting tired. I lost my first pair and they had been so helpful, so I decided to buy another pair. I am so glad because they really help when using the computer for a long time.
They truly save my eyes!

RETURNED:
When I first put them on and looked at the monitor I use for video games I thought it looked awesome, however I quickly realized the frames were too thick and were distracting when gaming (warzone). Unfortunately not something I was going to be getting used to so I returned them.
Got the razer edition ($89.99) because they have thinner frames, but will be returning them too. The razer ones somehow feel flimsy and cheap and don't look as good, when looking through them. Also not very comfortable on my nose.
These ones I am reviewing were perfect in terms of comfort and visual effects, just couldn't get past thick frames.
I wanted to ignore the distracting frames, but couldn't. Maybe you can? IF so, you'll like them.

I bought and have been using these for over a year now. For years my eyes strained, turned red, and I would get tired as I stared into my monitor working and TV playing videos or watching movies for an extended period of time. Initially, I had no idea why until I came across an ad for these and did more research on eye strain and Gunnar Optiks. I purchased these out the blue and wear them anytime I am working on the computer or playing video games. They have reduced my eye strain and kept my fatigue at bay. I was really surprised they work and am a proud owner. I purchased the clear lens one as I am a front-end developer who spends long hours coding and designing in photoshop and illustrator. I did not want the yellow tint lens to throw off any color interpretations for me. Overall, I recommend these to anyone who spends long hours gaming or working on the computer, especially those who use LED screens and don't want to turn the backlight settings down.

I purchased these on a whim when I saw them on sale for $25. I was looking for something to take the strain off my eyes for everyday computer use. I am not a hardcore, 20 hours a day training for the World StarCraft Champoinship, but I do spend a considerable amount of time behind a computer screen. These glass do help filter out the blue light. The backlighting on most devices do put out really harsh blue light that does a number on my tired eyes. These glass do help my eyes relax so I can continue to work without much discomfort. These glass will pick up glare along the inside of the lenses. So, if you are working on a computer and have a tablet or cell phone in your lap you will see glare. Otherwise the glass work well for what they were designed for. The styling is US Army issue. I think that could have been avoided.

I work in front of a computer for 7 hours of each work day... I put the kids to bed and do some pc gaming for about 2 more hours.... when I hit the sack, I'm on my phone, reviewing best buy products, or searching the Web for my next gadget... that's a lot of screen time. I have been getting eye related headaches, and focus problems due to the blue light and other environmental inputs. I looked up "digital eye strain/syndrome " and learned a bit about my specific issue. If you spend lots of time on a screened device, and you have trouble sleeping, eye problems, or other symptoms related to digital eye syndrom, these glasses are worth a try. There are no other glasses made with this quality of glass, easily available. I also own Cheaper glasses purchased online "gama ray" they are good... but not as good as the gunnars. With any optic (weapon sights, reading glasses, binoculars) the higher cost is due to the expense of making a quality lense. Protect your eyes... 60$ is a small price to pay.
