I bought these for my husband who is on a computer all day for work. He says they work well. It would be nice if they made them look a little better and the price was quite expensive.

Amazing Glasses for an Enthusiast Gamer!

Before I used these, my eyes have been getting painful. I've been getting tired and it was giving me head aches. This easily solved that problem. I love it! I like the Vayper design, looks like the SteelSeries Scope version, but $20 cheaper. I game a lot, mainly League of Legends, and heard of GUNNARS from Team Solo Mid. The downsides to this is that its still expensive, @ $80. Also, it's kind of flimsy, and feels weird for a person who doesn't use glasses. But hey, I'll get used to it. I highly recommend this to someone who goes on the computer or games for 5+ Hours.

They actually work really well!

When these first came out I thought they were about the dumbest thing I had seen. I mean, really, how can wearing these goofy glasses help for playing games? I took me a couple years before I even considered them as an option. Well, apparently I was dead wrong and they do help – alot.
I am professional web developer andI spend 9+ hours in front of computer screen each weekday, but I also love to play PC games. At certain points I would be looking at a screen 16-18 hours a day. The constant strain began wearing on my eyes heavily. I would wake up with bright, red eyes and no amount of eye drops would help.
At first I did not even attribute it to the screens, but one day I was at Best Buy and thought what the heck and bought a set. They do take a bit of getting used to and will give everything a slight yellow hue, but they are worth it. After using these for a couple weeks, my eyes are back to normal and no more eye drops. I can play and work all day and not look like I just walked out of a Phish concert. As for helping with the gaming itself, I guess they do a bit. Things do seem a bit more crisp, but I dont play fast action games much so its not a big deal to me. The big deal is the reduction in eye strain for me.
TLDR. These really work. If you have eye problems from too much screen time, do yourself a favor and give these a shot.
Pros:
Really work and keep eyes from wearing out.
Decent view improvement.
Cons:
Very prone to smudges. Be prepared to wipe these things all the time.
A bit pricey until I used them. They were worth every penny for my situation.
Super dorky looking, but who care, right?

Great for gaming and computer use

Great glasses, especially if you game a lot and are having eye strain or head aches. I have wore these for hours while gaming and no more head aches or eye strain. They do offer minor improvement for gaming (FPS), but mostly help with eye strain. The only down side is if you use a headset (Turtle beach especially) they become uncomfortable due to the pressure applied by the head set. Great addition!

What geek's dreams are made of

As an IT Manager, I'm in front of a screen at least 10-12hrs a day. My eyes get strained, and it's hard to focus--especially the longer my workday is.
I had never even thought about special eyewear, until I randomly ran across these glasses on the web. I decided it was well worth my time and money to check them out, especially if they would work as well as the company claimed.
I've only been wearing them for a few hours, but from the second I put them on, I could notice a difference. And normally at this point in the day, trying to read a forum or blog would be causing me to have to lean in towards my computer screen. But not today!

Took some adjustment, but well worth it.

They took a bit to get used to, as I don't normally wear glasses (20/10 vision), but after having adjusted they really do help. The screen seems sharper and a bit larger (magnification?).
Eyes don't seemed as strained after staring at a monitor for work all day.

I use to get really bad headaches playing and these helped. They are very uncomfortable when wearing a headset. At night I turn all the lights out and it seems to me that stuff pops out more. I can see people on head glitches easier. I like them overall. Just really uncomfortable. They almost feel to small for my head. I would recommend them to my friends. Explaining these glasses is hard. Something that you would really just have to experience.

Good computer glasses, even use them driving.

I would buy them again if my pair broke. I work at the computer 9 hours a day and spend more gaming. I noticed reduced eyestrain and sharper images. I've even used them driving and found them great. What really annoys me for the cost of the glasses, is how uncomfortable they are where they touch your head by your ears. Because the earpieces are all plastic you can't bend them a bit to make them more comfortable. The ends curve just enough inwards to poke your head.

Worked for me

I was a bit skeptical about buying Gunnar gaming glasses. I thought it was just another gimmick, for the price, you could see why. So, I decided to give them a shot and I have to say, I'm completely happy with them. I feel like it's a case to case basis on these. I have almost perfect eye sight no real problems. These may not work for you if you have eye sight issues. Its hard to recomend the glasses because what works for me may not work for you and it's a pricey gamble. If you have the income and are willing to take the chance, I say go for it.

Ok...so I'm not sure if they really help my eyes. I play a lot of muti-player games, but the jury is still out. I was too tempted and paid way too much. If they were around $25, it would be easier to recommend. They are light weight and seem flexible, but I would hate to accidently step on them.

I totally recommend these glasses to everyone that spends time gaming; whether it's in front of a small LCD screen or 100 inch projector screen.
I personally game on a 106 inch screen in a dark lit room and have been having major issues as of late when playing games that show text.
After playing for more than 15 minutes my eyes would start to strain, become blurry and then produce headaches. I've got to say, as soon as i got home with these glasses all of my symptoms disappeared.
I highly recommend them to anyone who enjoys gaming!

Yellow-tinted Safety Glasses.

These are a pair of yellow-tinted safety glasses. They don't help you be a better gamer, they don't help you focus. All they actually do is protect your eyes from light particles or debris and give your vision a yellow-tint. You can get a pair of yellow-tinted safety glasses for under $10.
