Program does not automatically prompt you of eligibility of the credit. Additionally, you have to complete the Form 1116 on your own. Also, overriding any calculation is a bit complicated. If you have a simple basic tax return, this software will work fine.

Not as Advertized
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is my 5th year using H&R Block tax software. Every other year has been flawless and seamless. This year. Good gawd. First it wouldn't let me file because I needed to wait a week for an update. I wait. Finally, update loaded. Go to file. Nope. No Internet connection. So I log into their website using, uh, the Internet, plow through layer after layer of screens, menus, options … and the promised help can't be found. So I try to file again, and low and behold, it's not giving me one error, but two errors. Both saying I need to wait another two weeks for yet another update. I moved to H&R Block software because of the TurboTax fiasco 5 years ago. I hate to go back, but it looks like H&R Block is having an issue getting it's act together. Bottom line, all I want to do is file my taxes, and it shouldn't give me heartburn.

Software fine - still try to upsell you though

Also, be aware that even though it says "state included," you need to pay $20 to file your state return. Included just means the software portion. Check and see if you can get a better deal online before paying for the disc.
