This software is easy to use yet so accurate. I've been using this software for a few years now and I have complete confidence that it gets the job done right.

Works like its supposed to! Imported last years info with no problems. I prefer TurboTax's deduction program over this one - but otherwise, for the price, I prefer this software.

I switched from Turbo Tax to H&R Block a year ago and the transition was very smooth. This is a less costly option, easy to use, and well worth the price.

As usual for tax software, they just update for the new tax year. Sometimes the software still doesn't connect the info for the federal to the state tax especially if filing two states simultaneously. It should be smart enough to be able to sync the info for my complete filing. Additional states cost quite a bit and the filing is somewhat awkward for people filing in the last week of the tax period. With all the flaws it is still easier than paper filing if you are not using standard deductions.

Product is easy to use and help is very clear. I would have liked ability to add more non-cash deductions lines but not a big problem.

I have been using H&R Block for years. It easy to use and you can import data from the previous years return.

This is my fifth year using the H&R Block tax return. It automatically fills in basic information from previous returns. It gives step by step guidance for each section of the return. The DeductionPro feature is great for determining values on donations of items to Salvation Army, Goodwill, etc. It imports necessary data from your federal return to your state return making the whole process very fast and easy.

I use this program every year. It's intuitive, fast, and effective...and at a great price.

I suspect most tax software is about the same since they all have to follow the same laws. Although the tax law is something that is complicated enough that tax returns could probably receive odds in Vegas and should not necessarily be completed trusted by a piece of software. If you have a good simple situation then this or any tax software is the way to go and very easy to use. If more complicated you should consider an actual accountant.

I bought this after a friends recommendation. I was disappointed with Tax Act constantly raising prices and nickel and diming me. It didn't seem to calculate my HSA correctly so I bought this to try it out. It's so much easier to use and explains items like entering stock information better. I enjoyed using it and will buy again next year.

I have used this software for several years now. It is really quite good for the Federal taxes, but not too good for our State (WI). It is easy to use for both returns, but you need to do a lot of reading to see if you qualify for certain State deductions or credits. It doesn't really "walk you through" those items. I doubt if the other tax programs do much better for State returns. I give it a 4.5. 1040 and out.

H&R Block Tax software is incredibly easy to use for people who do not have extensive knowledge of tax preparation. They ask simple easy to follow questions and once you input your answers the software is, in the background, populating the corresponding lines on the actual tax documentation. It was a breeze. I would definitely recommend this to everyone.
