Software makes it easy to file your own taxes. Screens take you step by step through the process, and it even guides you to review certain things which may not match up or are don't reasonably make sense.

A good product for those with simple returns (or even those with a bit more complex returns) to file. It is easy to use (even easier if one used it last year too). I was able to buy it on sale too which made it more appealing.

HR Block was very reliable, told me what red flags might jump out at the IRS and asked me about possible additional deductions I could take. It really takes the guesswork out of doing your own taxes.

For several years now, I've relied on H & R Block to get me through the less than enjoyable process of doing our taxes. It does a good job of walking me through the various stages of completing federal and state tax forms.

Love to be able to buy and file my own taxes. The H&R block does help you to make sure that you filled in everything. If something may be wrong you get an alert before you submit your taxes

Very easy to use walks you through it all. Who knows exactly if it gets me every deduction but I feel satisfied with the results so unless you have very special taxes anybody can use this

I think the real test will come when my return gets more complicated, but as someone with only a W-2 and a couple of investment accounts, the software made everything extremely simple.

I finally decided to make the purchase and take the time to complete my return. It took me longer than I wanted because I have a lot going on with return but HR Block helped me get through it so I'm happy.

Easy to set up and use; guides you through the input process; asks questions and gives you some ideas to reduce your taxes. Some quirks, but I guess you should expect some with the size of the US tax code!

You just put your earning and interest and subtractions and the tax helper from H&R Block does the rest. it is very to simple to use and you can do up to 5 people taxes with it.

I've used Turbo Tax many times in the past, so I was hesitant to try a new product. H & R Block's program is just as simple as TurboTax and is a decent amount cheaper. It does all the same things and really, I saw no downside to switching programs. TurboTax just has the more popular name, but really Block's is the same to navigate. Let's face it, tax programs are only going to be so different, so saving some money on an almost exact same product is never a bad thing.

Simple, straight forward software that guides you through the process. If your taxes are uncomplicated, you can't beat the price. And, with 5 e-files of federal returns included, you can do more than your own preparation. Went with HR software as they will back you up more readily than TurboTax. Would like to see more tutorials in a simpler format and language.
