I was able to import last year's taxe data with ease and this program walked me through all the new tax changes and asked questions so I could get the best refund possible. And at the end, it checked for errors and gave me a notification of audit risk, which was super helpful.

I used to use Turbo Tax when Vanguard supplied it for free (until they didn't) and have familiarity with its shortcomings. For the past 2 years I've used H&R Block and not only is it much less expensive but it is easier to use and my taxes are done with dispatch.

H&R Block works great on my Win 7 PC. I tried Turbo Tax and it wouldn't pull up data from my previous year return. I talked to tech support about it and they said it was a PC problem. When I tried H&R Block Deluxe it pulled up the data with no problem.

H&r block is the goto tax software for me. It easily imports my w-2 and 1099 information the screens are easy to use . you check boxes and enter numbers . It is easy Now with the kids working the 5 free e files come in handy. well worth the price

I have used this program for the past 6 years. Really like it! The pick up at the store wasn't as easy as I had hoped. It was never set aside for me to pick up so I had to wait for them to track one down in the store and hand write an exit appoval slip to get out the door. Not a deal breaker,but would have been nice if they were more organized.

the H& r block software worked ok and I was able to e-fie my 2016 Federal taxes ok. A better job could be done in the printing of the return with respect to the cover page which included at the bottom of same, which part of the tax summary and then continued for 4 lines on following page .A separate page should have been used for this summary..

I've been using this software for 11 years now. H&R makes it very easy, as long as you have all your forms on hand,, you just have to follow the prompt.. you really can't mess up. You get 5 free e-files along with it, and we always use three..

i have used h&r block to do my taxes and found it to do a great job. my taxes are a little more involved than a simple tax and it furnished all the pages needed to complete my taxes, and it is easy to follow the step by step instructions.

Talks you through all aspects of IRS tax forms and answered all questions I had. Gives you options when you have to pay taxes, my situation, and found money available to you, my son's situation. Very good for returns not overly complicated

There are two big names in computer tax software - I used to use the "other" one to do my taxes - but then some years back they put in a cumbersome online verification procedure and jacked up the price, so I decided to try H&R Block's program. Got EXACTLY the same result - so I switched, and haven't gone back. I use the "Deluxe" version since I have some stock to deal with, and it does what it needs to. The included "Deduction Pro" subroutine helps assigning values to non-cash donations to places like Goodwill or Salvation Army, though I wish it were easier to print a summary. Buying this program also gives you access to Block's online help site if you have a question - this happened when I was dealing with a partial sell-to-cover stock option transaction a couple of years ago - but it took a couple of tries, since the first online Block rep wasn't familiar enough with the situation to answer my question and my issue had to get escalated to a more senior rep. DID eventually get the answer, however. Overall, a good program - not perfect - but appreciably less expensive than the equivalent competitor's offering.

I have used this program for many years. It is very simple to use. One aspect of the CD that I love is the Deduction Pro; if you donate things to charity it gives you the price you can allow on your taxes for each item.

I have used this product for fourteen years running. I particularly like how it checks for errors at the end, as well as whenever I navigate to the feature in the menu. I like that the data is under my complete control.

HRBlocks software is great .. everything works smoothly and logically. The ability to view all the forms as well as track the numbers through supporting forms and worksheets is very helpful. The support for K.l data is skimpy could be better The Best Buy service and price was very worthwhile.

The H&R Block software is easy to install and use. Efiling was no problem and refund was electronically received in only 8 days (efiled on a Sunday, received direct deposit following Monday).

Been using them since they were just "Tax Cut". I have never had a problem with getting my taxes done and sent in electronically and it's the fastest way to get your refund.
