    I've been using H&R Block (aka TaxCut) for >20 years. This year, the software was not available on CD, so I used the internet install. It failed to install on a less than six month old HP (Windows) computer. The installation process started, but then got stuck on the fist splash screen. I looked for help on the H&R Block website, which turned out to be useless. I then called the H&R Block help phone number. A computer generated voice told me to check the website, and then hung up the phone. So, this year for the first time I used TurboTax. There are some things I like better about H&R Block, but it's a moot point when the software will not install.

    The software functions ok, a few glitches here and there. Tried getting a problem resolved via tech support after some time spent on the "smart agent" without resolution, I was moved to a line for a live agent...that took more time than I was wanting to spend. Problem eventually resolved.

    good overall sound and value, especially when purchased on sale...wires are long but thin and easily tangled..
