Easy to use. Best tax prep software for the price.

I use this program every year and love the format.

My problems with this program may be more because of the complexity of the tax code than the program. We found an entry for something business related despite being retired, This entry seemingly came from nowhere. HR Block does have answer the phone, but the person I spoke to also was puzzled. Otherwise the program worked, after learning how to navigate it. I found it annoying in different ways from TurboTax. Importing data from TurboTax was not as simple and efficient as I expected, possibly the fault of TurboTax. Next year probably a tax preparer after decades of diy tax.

Worked fine for federal filing. Kept failing on state program download. Claimed I needed administrative authorization even though my computer.

Don't buy the digital download. It's been a week and it's not available for me to download, the only one showing is the one I bought in 2020, not the one I bought this year. There are no "help" options either, I have to call. Please be mindfull that it's not as easy as it's made to sound.

I have no problem with the H&R Block software, but I ordered and paid for the downoad 9 days ago and still don’t have a download link. Spent 20 minutes this morning on a chat, only to be sent a link to the 2020 download. Didn’t show up in my Digital Library like it was supposed. Called last week and asked for a refund. They can’t give a refund for downloaded software. Ridiculous.

it's ok I did my taxes but I hired a tax pro who got me a better return than H&R BLOCK

If I could give a negative review or zero I would. This product sucks, especially since I bought the 2021 and the download was for 2020. Good going bestbuy. And after 9pm of course there is no help for defective product. This item sucks!!!

The state e file its not free its 19.99 plus tax 5 free federal e files.

Used to use exclusively. Could not figure out Executor Pay - Intuit lists steps. Could not file an extension unless I Paid another 19.99. Done with H&R Block. For some reason each time I tried to exit, software overwrote return with content I did not want saved. Help was useless and state form could not accept state requires forms - GO TO IRS DOWNLOAD FOR AND ATTACH. I have zero conficence in software. Oh yes, no updates until the week before taxes were due!

Called their "support" line because a new IRS form had not been added to the software. They stated the software was not going to be updated and I would have to pay to file online. What is the point of selling software you don't intend to update or support? Am trying to get a refund through their "100 satisfaction" guarantee.

i had to return this product,at the beginning,during the install wizard process,i got a errr.code,so i could not use,it,i called your customer service,and i got my credit refunded

This is ridiculously simple... 1. Buy the product. 2.You get an email "Thanks for your order, we'll let you know when your product is ready" 3. 2nd email. "Your order is ready. Here is your code. Click here to install" 4. Once clicked to install, enter code, enter your basic info. 5. Install. 6. Use This is the same in 2022 as it was in 2012... If those instructions are too complex, go see a tax specialist and I recommend enrolling in identity theft protection. It took longer to write this review than to buy and install the software. 8:56pm purchased... by 8:57pm I had the 2 emails. by 8:59pm the product was installed...

A must have for do it yourselfers of tax filers, annually use

Best Buy cares very little about its loyal customer and takes them 4 way too granted. How--U ask? They seem 2 have no problems wasting our time buying(filling online orders with 2 long gift card #'s) only to tell us-WAY at the end( after clicking the BUY button) that the item( HRB DELUXE w/ state) is not available. How FR&^%%ING nice? To top it off-no mention at all as to how 2 reclaim the 2 gift cards! Not gonna get me ever again!
