Good software that is necessary to do your own taxes.

I bought this as a Deal Of The Day. I had no problems installing it on my computer. I took a photo of my wife's W2 to have the software fill in the forms for me. It took my wife's wages and added that figure to the tips section which in effect doubled her wages and she works where she does not get any tips. When we went to E-file, I had to pay again to file the federal, which it said was included. I was expecting to pay to E-file my state return. Next year I will be looking for different Tax software.

Does the job better the the Turbo competitor, but do not lose the ID Code that is sent electronically.

Got all the way to the end to find out it doesn't have form 7203 for S Corp shareholders that have share of an aggregate loss. Ridiculous since this form has been required for 2 years and they still don't have. Now I need to buy turbotax so I can efile. Had used H&R block since 2006, but this is last year

This software makes it very easy to enter your data, and answers any question you might have.

Not very friendly program, need to have lot of knowledge or pay extra for help

Used for years, last two years late in getting all updates required to file return.

program works but efile code does not work. other than that it is fine

I was not able to use this product. I purchased it and then downloaded it but because my PC is a Cromebook without windows installed I wasn’t able to install the software. I only brought this because it was advertised for PCs.

Been using TaxCut for guessing 15 or more years. This was first year I bought the Federal+State. Never again! Found H&R Block charge a $20 fee for e-filing of the state return. That is a sham, to put it mildly. Packaging should have made that totally clear! Wrote my dissatisfaction to the company and had no response. Even if cost was (???) placed somewhere in the fine print, that would still be absurd, as well as a clear indication of wanting to put one over on the buying public. IMO that is UNETHICAL! Instead, the company should have raised clearly stated price from the outset. So since that's it's game, I'm moving on to TaxCut next year and letting buyers be aware!

Not easy to install, leaves out a step so you have to call. Plus, other issues just make this a bad version. I will most likely be going with a different software next year. I'd advise not to buy this version

I wasted my money. Note you can only use this if you want to download the software but not if you file on the h&r block site. So just threw money in the trash with this.

download is impossible, Level 2 tech support name P.E. is rude, not helpful, and before he can resolve the problem, just dropped off.

Can't go wrong with H&R Block. I have been using the software for as long as I can remember.

Just buy a in store copy. The download link doesn’t work & Total Tech Support (out sourced) was Clueless just reading off script. I filled out my cd-key & my email. Clicked my OS then Next. Found out it’s a dead link. Tried to read the java script code for missing link. It’s the same.

I’ve used this software for over 20 years without any problems with installing it. This years installation was a real problem as you are directed to a website that doesn’t work, therefore requiring a phone call for assistance. DO NOT BUY as you’ll save yourself an aggravating time.

I honestly don’t know why they keep producing this. For the third year in a row, they do not support the CIVID hardship deferral in the software. This makes it basically useless for a lot of people. Ridiculous that they don’t support such a major change.

It does what you need it to do. It’s works as well.

Not very user friendly if you misplace the initial email. Much rather buying off of Amazon for the simple reason of being able to go back and redownload.
