No more H&R Block tax software on disk

I had to return each item, so multiple trips to and from the store because the packaged product was not the version I purchased/wanted. Then I received the digital version instead of the physical disk version... Then the packaged product was opened without a disk. Another instance, I was "mistakenly" given the download version. I eventually returned the items. I subsequently learned that I would be unable to obtain the software on disk because H&R Block no longer offers their tax software on disk.

Save yourself time, money, and the frustration of using this software to do your taxes. Support is non-existent and phone support will keep you on the line waiting for 40 minutes before disconnecting you. The help found in the program itself is also worthless. All in all a very frustrating experience and now I find that I need to start all over again with another program. They deserve 0 stars but at least 1 star is required to submit.

You do have a choice between buying an electronic version where you will be emailed a link and activation code, or you can purchase the physical boxed version that contains a printed URL and activation code inside.

The manager accuse me of being dishonest. I had to open the box to download the program, how would I know if it would work or not if I did not open. I was treated badly. Will think twice, before making any future purchases.

On top of that on their own web-site, they charge something like an additional $5.99 for Extended Download service where you can download multiple times - if you need to. Not sure if that is included here. If they do not support CD they need to give other options like a flash drive, etc. Guess this year I will have to switch to a new provider
