Terrible company. Avoid at all cost. This company runs a scam. Background: I use my mobile phone very little, only for emergencies or when traveling. Voice and text only. I keep the data turned off. I usually recharge in $10 increments, which usually lasts me 2 or 3 months. 1) My most recent problem (March 2019): On my last recharge, I requested a $10 recharge. H2O billed my credit card $100, and gave me $100 worth of minutes. I will never use all these minutes before they expire. H2O Customer Service will not acknowledge their error, and will not issue a refund. They say the "terms of service" agreement does not allow refunds. 2) My worst problem (December 2017): When I first signed up for service, I was transferring my mobile number to H2O because my former provider (T-Mobile) no longer roamed on AT&T's network in Vermont. H2O requested a call-back number, and I gave them my landline number. H2O took my landline number instead of my mobile number. To fix the problem, I had to buy a second H2O SIM card to accept my mobile number, as they said they could not reuse the old one. It took no time for H2O to make the mistake, but it took them nearly a month to release my number back to my landline provider. As a result of this problem, I lost my favorable pricing plan from my landline provider, and will now have to pay 53% more for landline service for the rest of my life. H2O never owns up to their mistakes, and I have my doubts that these are indeed mistakes. I think it's the way they choose to operate their business. In problem #1, they insist that I ordered a $100 recharge. In problem #2, they insist that I requested my landline to transfer over, then changed my mind. This is the last straw. Once my current minutes expire, I will transfer my number to another provider.

    H2O Wireless is AWFUL!!

I am not a person that writes many bad reviews but if I can save one person from choosing this company for their wireless service it’s worth it. To make a VERY VERY LONG story short, we switched to H2O for the AT&T backbone and to avoid fees. To start, their website is vague and tells you almost nothing about all the features you lose on your iPhone when you switch to them (no more FaceTime, audio/video files cannot be sent via iMessage, etc). They also don’t tell you that you need to configure your phone for cellular data after you are activated! WHAT????? We had no service save for WiFi. Then the real fun began when I decided after the FIRST DAY to just cut my loses and move directly to AT&T. After MANY trips into a local AT&T store to switch over from H2O the verdict was that H2O was holding our numbers for ransom. We have 3 phones. The first one ported over with no issues. The other two were placed on a hold by H2O. We were told we needed to be with H2O for at least a week by their (ONLY??) rep. He said “the system” wouldn’t release the numbers and there was nothing he could he could do. When I asked him why the first number ported fine he had no answer and kept saying it was “the system”. When I asked to speak to a supervisor he said he was the only one there. Is this a one-person company?? So the other two numbers were held hostage until the next week. How is that even legal?? I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND not EVER choosing this company for any reason.

I have had an H2O SIM card in an older cell phone before and it was disappointing, because there were a lot of disconnects and very bad reception. I have used that first SIM card for only 1 month. I wanted to give H2O another chance with a new phone, and I bought a new SIM card, because I like the phone plan with the unlimited international calls to 10 numbers/month to certain countries. The setup was not problem free in either case and I had to call H2O customer service for help. I believe it is an out of country customer service. I think they are trying to be good, but they are not good yet. I was on hold for a very long time when I called them. At the first time, non of my phones wanted to work with the SIM card and they had to send me files for resetting and activation, and the whole process lasted a very long time. At this second time, after activating the service through their website, there was no data and internet service. They walked me through the complete setting for H2O cellular internet service. I have been using this 2. H2O SIM card for over a week now. It works a lot better than the first one worked in the older phone. I called US and international numbers with no problem. I used text messaging and the internet. If you can get over the possible issues with setup and customer service, the package itself is pretty good for the price. I do not regret giving H2O a second chance. I bought only the SIM card from Best Buy, then I paid for the service on the H2O website during activation. Choosing autopay gives you discount and there is also a promotion for extra data for 3 months.

Thus us based on AT&T network and the plan I am enrolled in is $40/month ($36 if you sign up for auto charge). The plan offers 8G 4G LTE, unlimited talk and text in US and $20 international credit. The coverage is very good, I tried thw Intenet on my way from Albany, NY to Middletown, NY with no cuts. The reasons for my 4 stars: 1. H2O CEO, you need to take care of your customer services. They are good (not all of them) but the time I have got answered when called to switch from Simple Mobile was 14 minutes! Get more employees please. 2. If you are switching to H2O, they require your zip code, and here is the thing here, you must give them your zip code where you lived when you purchased your old SIM. It won't work even if you changed your address in your old SIM account. H2O doesn't say this on their website. It took me 4 days to complete the switch while it should've taken from 2 ti 24 hours. 3. The $40 plan is a promotional lasts till 6/30/2017, customer services said it may/may not go back to it's previous offer (3G 4G LTE speed internet, the rest are the same) after that, really!!! Overall I am satisfied but will be more happy if it stays 8G.

I installed the card into a spare iPhone 5, worked fine. Web page to add credit was dicey, but got it figured out. My iCloud account was the same for both phones, word of warning, my full time phone transferred my call log to the H2O phone, and H2O promptly charged me for calls made on my other phone! So although the H2O phone was in a drawer, every call i made on my sprint phone was charged against my H2O credit. This is too rediculous to make up, I had to take a pic of the identical call log on both phones to get Sprint to research. The call to H2O was criminal, "that is impossible." It's always fun when someone tells you what you see with your own eyes is impossible. He then quit and said it's not possible, so he is hanging up. Well done H2O, luckily the Sprint folks did the research and solved my problem. H2O can keep the ten dollar credit, it would take me three hours to get it back, I will just forget about the luxury of giving my father in law a phone when he visits. Stay away from H2O, you will regret giving them your money.

    H2O Sim Card Review

The card was easy to install and setup. I created an account, added more money etc and was able to do and receive call. Pros (why this SIM card is worth it): H2O runs on the ATT Line which provides a good coverage. The plans are extremely cheap compared to other carriers like T-Mobile or Sprint. H2O works on ATT Locked Phones flawlessly or ATT GoPhones (And of course Unlocked Cell Phones) H2O Customer Service is amazing, I been using H2O for around 3 years and contact through Live Chat and problems are resolved in a matter of minutes, Cons: You need to personally set up an APN or install an iOS profile to get Data Working or Picture Messaging. Data Speeds aren't extremely fast and around 8 Mbps

I tried to buy a monthly data plan for $ 30. At the same time I had 500 bonus points which is equivalent to 5 dollars. However, their site was not working - the field where you need to enter a credit card number was not active. I called two days for support and the only thing I was offered was to buy a plan over the phone. And if you do this through the operator, then you need to pay extra 3$. Through the machine on the phone it also did not work. Automatic answered that my card is not valid. Finally on 4th day I paid for the plan thru operator with same credit card, because I did not have time to order a SIM card from another mobile-operator. And the ridiculous thing is that it works the same way as 3G and slower than my Wi-Fi in the hotel Extend Stay America and there it is really very slow.

    Stay away from H2O Wireless

H2O wireless treats its customers virtually like dirt. Although their service is somewhat cheap you get what you pay for. Today my $40 prepaid phone plan was up for renewal. Therefore I contacted H2O customer service because I wanted to change to a $30 plan. However, the agent Alby refused to allow this change unless I agree to forfeit the autopay charge that has been made by H2O this morning. This issue was not even resolved by Bianca, the supervisor of that customer service agent. Why should I pay a penalty when I am contacting H2O on the day the phone plan is up for renewal? I asked them to change the plan and refund the excess charge to my credit card but both agents adamantly refused that citing company policy.

I purchased an H2o wireless sim card and then bought a prepaid plan, but I was not AT ALL made aware that certain phones are not compatible with their service. No where before or during the purchasing process, nor on the packaging was this indicated. After, the sim card would not activate after days of trying and I figured out it was because my phone was not compatible. Finally, after not at all being able to use any of the plan, I asked to be reimbursed and was refused because the refund department didn't approve it. Terrible service and ridiculous that I was not offered reimbursement for a prepaid plan I could not even use. DO NOT buy H20 without checking that your phone is compatible with their service.

SIM card pack with the 3 sizes pretty much every phone takes. The SIMs detach from each other. The nano sized SIM sits inside the plastic for the micro sized SIM, which sits inside the plastic for the "regular" sized SIM. I would recommend keeping the outer plastic things should you change phones and need a different sized SIM. H2O service is fantastic. It uses AT&T's network which is the best of the big 4 carriers in the area that I'm in, and the areas which I most travel to. The cost is insanely excellent as well. Almost half the cost of a traditional mobile phone company. Even factoring in the up front cost of buying your own phone it's a good deal.

Got this while transitioning from 1 carrier to the next. All in all the service itself is ok but the lack of data options is troublesome for me. I like using pandora and map apps in the car but draining your data in that way would lead to running out of LTE before the end of the month. What's actually bad with this is the customer support. It actually seemed like these guys were being paid to give you the runaround when you begin asking for your account# and pin to port out. Overall, the service isn't bad at all. You get decent service everywhere you go but the support is a nightmare. If you just need a temporary solution this is it otherwise look elsewhere.

In my case I wanted to transfer my existing number to H2O, which should have been easy enough on their website (it's set up for that), but there was some kind of problem with old carrier and trying to get anyone on the phone from H2O, or call them back when they left messages, was a nightmare, I always ended up talking to someone in a call center (who barely spoke English) and whose only contribution was to say "someone will call you back". It's been over a week and still hasn't been fixed...on the other hand, my wife got a new number so her setup was pretty much instant.

It is a great sim. H2O is very good phone service. It saves my money from buying calling cards. I love H2O phone service because before that I had to pay for calling card to call Bangladesh but now I only pay $27 per month and I get Unlimited Bangladesh calling. Also there is no fear of increasing monthly bill. I would suggest people who wants to call in other countries beside U.S. to check if they're eligible for unlimited calling to their countries by going to H2O Wireless website.

At first, I got the SIM CARD out of the box and the adapter that would make it fit the microSIM slot broke. Luckily, I was able to find an adapter for the nano size remainder. About 25 days into use, it began occasionally having trouble reading the SIM when I booted the phone. I would slide it in and out and it would pick up and register on the network. But the day before yesterday it just quit. I've spent hours trying to get it into position, but no luck. I've had AT&T SIM cards that outlasted phones, but this one couldn't last 1.5 months.

I was sold this h20 Wireless SIM card of r $10 but not provided any AIRTIME pin to have this activated. And i have to call h20 customer support and had to activate by by own and pay another $10 for pay as you use plan. This is very ridiculous by BestBuy, who have not guided on activating it. Be ware to have this activated by them when you buy it. in h2o website you can buy a sim with activated or airtime pin for &10 as pay as you go.

This SIM card was only $0.01, NO ACTIVATION FEE REQUIRED!!! Use any unlocked or AT&T phone for this service. Monthly plans start at $20 a month. Don't want to renew after 30 days, don't pay to renew. Good for travelers to the USA, students and people with bad or no credit, excellent for anyone with friends or family overseas.

I bought two sim cards to be used in unlocked phones under the belief that they could be used outside the US. I didn't read the label to see what limitations there were which affect the cards. When I contacted technical support, I found out that the cards cannot be used outside the US. It is possible that they will work well within the US and in accordance with their design.

I bought it because I was having trouble with the internet in my phone. When I called the H2O, the customer service agent said this new SIM Card would help the quality of data I was getting in my phone. However i did not get any improvement regarding my data, I activated the SIM Card with my phone and there is no better reception or nothing.
