While true stories are special by themselves, this dog story is an amazing testimony to how loyal dogs can be. They truly are "man's best friend." If you liked "My Dog Skip," you'll love "Hachi" as well.

My wife and I have watched this movie several times, and it still is hard to watch without a tear or two.

Loved this dog movie when I bought it and got it in the mail after watching it off of prime video on amazon at first, didn’t even know about this movie till then last week. Loved it more when I got it myself this movie really is dogs best friend. It’s a cute sad movie but good sad. I’m a huge dog lover and if your a dog lover you’ll love this movie too, I love my dog even more this is such a great dog movie.

When I heard about this movie I just didn't feel much interest in seeing it. Man was I way off in that instinct... Discovering it one night on a streaming service, I watched it with my son and it's now one of HIS favorite movies ever. Mine too. A somewhat simple movie that has a gigantic heart inside it and an emotional life lesson teaching ending...

It Is one of the must see movie. It will remind you about loyalty whether it be with other individuals or even your animal friends. It is a great story to watch by the whole family. Surely, it will touch your heart and make you realize the importance of everyone that crosses your lives.

This movie is a must-see for any dog-lover. It was recommended to me by someone, so I had to watch it, and I was not disappointed. You will fall in love with the dog and come away with tears in the end.

Loved this movie and Best Buy had it for a great price. If you liked "A dogs purpose" you'll love this movie too. And, its based on a true story. Incredible. Very touching and well made.

The translation of this movie was diffferent from the Japanese story , but had the same concept. The Akita dogs that portrayed Hachiko were amazing and well trained. The acting dog that played Hachiko was as loyal and realistic like the true Hachiko. The dog stole the show from the human thespians.

For any animal lover out there, this movie is a must. Not sure how close to the true story it really is, but that doesn't deter from the film whatsoever. Highly recommend.

This has to be the BEST true dog story movie ever!! Make sure you have your tissue box next to you when you're watching it, you're gonna need it.
