Really nice microwave!

Looks sleek and compliments my other black GE stove, dishwasher and fridge. It also works really well. Definitely an upgrade of my previous GE appliance which recently broke down after 10yrs of use. I hope this new one lasts longer. Only snag is the fingerprints that show on the mirror door, but it can easily be wiped clean and turns very new again. Overall, I love it. Very happy with the purchase.

While it’s a beautiful microwave, be prepared to constantly clean the steel door. It is easy to operate and does a great job of warming up food. My only issue was finding replacement filters.

Worth the price

I've had no issues with it, it runs perfectly. I like the glass mirror finish on the front but it is prone to fingerprints which means you'll have to clean it frequently to keep it clean looking. The door opens and shuts fairly load but no big deal. I went with Haier because they own GE appliances now and this one reminded me of the café platinum.

When installing you will need to change the blower direction for room vent. I followed the instructions are it was installed with not issues. The microwave is quite and easy to run. Would buy it again.

Posted .Hi there, thanks for the review. Sorry to hear that you've got difficult seeing the food inside your unit while it's cooking. All microwaves have a window in the door that has a mesh screen inside of it. This screen helps keep the microwaves inside the cavity, and is a necessary part of the unit. You may find that the screen makes it difficult to see your food as it is cooking. Although it is difficult to see detail, the window should allow you to see if there are any problems while cooking, like arcing, burning, boilovers, etc. If you need to check on your food, opening the door will pause the cooking cycle.
