Extremely happy with the Haier refrigerator
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Did not plan on "testing" five different refrigerators, KitchenAid, Insignia, Avanti, Danby and not sure of the spelling, Medea. The same problem with each of them! Would not keep food either in freezer or refrigerator at an acceptable temp. unless you turn it up to the coldest setting and l didn't want the new refrigerators compressor to have to work that hard right from the very beginning! No telling how quickly it might burn itself out. But then l got the Haier and was l impressed! Now the temp. switch is set on 3 and can go up to 7 for max but food is at the proper temperature at #3 and freezer is set just above minimum and keeping everything perfect. The doors shut good n tight compared to any of the first five, freezer has more room than the others even the two that had more cubic feet. Door on refrigerator has so much space that it holds both a gallon milk container n half gallon container n still have room on the door for mayo, eggs, butter and so much more! The crisper drawer on the bottom is huge, all shelves made of glass and the compressor is so quiet! Very good construction n you can tell it's a very sturdy refrigerator. So this Haier is a keeper! FINALLY!

I hate the lighting in the bottom part.. a weird off light glow... not pleasant light... The freezer sectionhas NO LIGHT>. I put a puck light in it so at least it has something... so far it keeps food cold or frozen so that is a plus.

Waited months to review - Exceeds Expections!

Posted .Congratulations on your new refrigerator. You said it! This is the perfect small refrigerator. We recommend using a soft cloth along with a mild detergent mixed with warm water. Please review the manual on page 9 for cleaning information. One of the great things about this model are the spill-proof shelves. I see why he is an Assistant Manger. Mr. Young is just a beautiful soul, super professional, a people person. The first refrigerator was defeated, so Best Buy picked it up & delivered another refrigerator. It is most perfect mini refrigerator. My only negative is the freezer does not have a light inside of it. Other than that it is PERFECT!

The freezer is a little larger than the one in my previous refrigerator which is nice. It's perfectly fine ... no issues in the first two months.

It is small enough to be tucked in a corner but spacious enough to hold a variety of items.

I assume either most reviewers haven't owned it very long, or I got stuck wit a lemon. In either case, I have only owned mine for a little over a year. Surprise, surprise, the freezer no longer works right after the warranty expired. A complete waste of $500+ on this garbage unit. Very frustrating that companies are unable to make anything last anymore. It's not worth the overpriced cost to have it fixed. I will never buy another Haier again. If you like wasting money and ruining hundreds of dollars in food, then this fridge is your #1 choice!
