This is the best 4k transfer to date! The film grain is almost all gone and the night scenes look great on an OLED display.

This is how horror should be. Suspense, build up, then horror. Pacing and mood well timed. Sound added not distracted like many sound tracks. Well done all around.

4k transfer definitely improves and makes this older (and cheaper made film) look much better than some previous released versions. Orginal film is still far and away best of the series.

Not much to say about this classic that now is offered in a premium viewing format. Now just go get it if you’ve got a 4K DVD player and compatible TV and cables!

Love this movie, my favorite Halloween movie. After watching my old DVD and it breaking I had to get the Blu Ray disc. Another plus it was on sale.

Scream Factory double dips with a 4K release which has a better transfer than the Lionsgate 4K release

It's the must watch movie every Halloween. It's not the first slasher movie, but it's the one that defined the genre and brought us the unkillable killer. Michael Myers is the ominous unstoppable villain and Jaime Lee Curtis played the perfect damsel in distress. It also taught us that the pure ones are the only ones who have a chance of survival! If you've never seen this, you owe yourself at least one viewing.

The classic, the forefather, the OG of horror/slasher franchise. Michael Myers and Lori Strode have never looked better than in this 4k masterpiece!

This is the best transfer so far. Props to Best Buy for having this in stock earlier than the actual release date. Perfect.

This is a classic film and Lionsgate treats it with respect. Excellent video and audio quality 4K release. Awesome cover artwork. The only complaint I have is that this release doesn't include much special bonus features. Not a big deal though, but I will definitely be buying the sequels if they get released in 4K. Highly recommended if you're a fan of the Halloween franchise.

I don’t know how many times I’ve bought Halloween, but this 4K restoration is as close as we are going to get to definitive.

A classic horror slasher, the 4K is definitely worth adding to the collection especially with this packaging!

This movie is quite possibly the most chilling and suspenseful horror film of all time. I believe it's the best overall horror film as well. It gave me nightmares as a kid. It's the only horrow film in my collection.

The 1978 Halloween is a masterpiece of horror. And it looks glorious in 4K. If you’re a horror fan, you already have this in some capacity. Now it’s time to upgrade. It is worth it
