Teenage sons are showing interest in classic horror films, so purchased this movie to add to the collection.

I've only used the BluRay disc so far, but the picture and sound are great. I imagine the 4k disc will only add to this experience. As for the movie itself, it's a classic. If you are a horror fan who hasn't seen it, you definitely should.

Missed this movie last year. I was finally able to get it on 4k. Great transfer!

A solid 4K upgrade from the standard bluray. My only complaint is the StudioCanal logo placed in front of the film. I understand they own the rights, but they don't need to put their name in front of a film they had nothing to do in making.

What can you say about a film that's considered a classic? The reason I bought this was because I didn't own it on blu-ray yet and I won't have to rebuy it when I get a 4k setup. Just being honest. Good deal for the price though.

I could not believe the difference in video quality when I watched this in 4K and then happened to see it also playing on TV. You will be absolutely blown away and see so much detail! It truly made an awesome movie even better!!!

A true John Carpenter movie that started it all which lead to a horror franchise.

Really good remaster. This is THE definitive edition to own if you want the best picture and sound.

Couldnt wait to get my hands on a 4K of this classic movie. It is a little bit grainy due to the resolution being scaled up. But it is still a great watch! There are moments where you can spot the prosthetics.

Love the Halloween franchise an nothing beats the original that got everything started! I purchased this movie on DVD, then again on blu ray, an now on 4K an this classic looks absolutely amazing in this format!

For the budget, this film is a masterpiece. Overall well acted and directed. One of the better horror / slasher films of all time and a must own. Beautifully remastered. Get the proper sequel (2018) to go with it.

Halloween is a great movie that inspires me to make my own film. The backstory of how this film got made is just great. A group of friends setting out to make a good movie on a low budget and it actually being a success.

There isn't much to say about this film, that hasn't already been said. Iconic Villain, Icon Protagonist, and Iconic Director. John Carpenter knows how to tell a story and guide his actors. Check out all his films!

The best version of this classic. The colors are stunning! Well worth the purchase.

I love to go back and watch the originals. It was perfect to watch this before the new one, as well. Still takes me back to when horror movies were defined by the music and suspense, not just the blood and gore.
