Most fun I have had with Halo since the original. The graphics are amazing and the story is awesome. Brings back the joy I felt with the original Halo that has been lost in the recent games. They have been good but this one is back to being excellent. I can not wait until they release the multiplayer campaign and I can play with my family

Graphics are astounding on my Series S, although some of the explosions from barrels and fire effects could use some work.. So far definitely the easiest Halo to play on legendary. Has a very Farcry vibe in campaign. Multiplayer is free with microtransactions for cosmetics to dress your Spartan up. Multi def needs some balancing. Some of the weapons are almost useless as they are. Melee is way over used and there seems to be a lunge. You'll get smacked even when you think you are not within the oposing players reach.

Picked this up the other day and so far it's pretty awesome. This game is massive and with the 20+ hours I have on it so far I feel like I've probably only scratched the surface! I'm not really into online multiplayer so I'm playing the campaign mode and it's been great so far. If you've played the rest of the Halo series then you NEED to get this game!

Great to see halo back and this game does not disappoint a great game with great graphics, i strongly recommend playing on an Xbox Series X or you will be disappointed by slower refresh rates slower fps and not as detailed graphics. This was truly a next gen game. My only complaint is that we have to wait till May for online CO-OP play.

Longtime Halo fan, bought the original Xbox on launch day and Halo: CE on launch as well. This is a great addition to the Halo lineup after years of waiting. Well worth the wait. A quick note, when launching this for the first time on the Series X|S, you will need an active internet connection as you'll need to download a minimum of 30 GB of data.

Game itself is good, lot of action great graphics, etc. I had issues with the mechanics of running it on an Xbox Series X. The game had problems saving my progress. I got online and found out that there is a "quick start" feature on the game/Xbox than can screw up the saves. It took me hours on the web trying to figure out what was happening. It is a well known problem, but apparently only on the disc versions of the game, not the downloads! Not totally sure of this, but it is what I found online. ONce I found out how to disable the "quick start" feature on the Series X, the Xbox refused to keep it off. It kept showing the quick start feature as active on the screen. I think I finally have a way around this. First of all I play through ALL of the major missions in total. I cannot stop halfway through, even though the screen will say "Checkpoint saved" and "Progress Saved". After being sure that the mission is completed, I then use the "fast Travel" option to go to another base, then again use FAst Travel to go back to the mission I just finished. From what I read this can assure that progress is saved. You'd think that with all the time it took to get this game out, this wouldn't happen! ALSO there was no reason given for the problem. Worst of all there was no time estimated by 343/Microsoft for when a patch would be out. Disappointing, but the game itself is excellent.

I LOVE HALO!!! But man is this game an overall disappointment, I play it daily but the population of the community is going down as time goes on. Too many hackers, monetization schemes, server issues, progression issues, character customization issues, the list goes on! BUT! If you live Halo and can push that all aside, the gameplay is phenomenal!!! Truly amazing and brings me back to the peak days of Halo 3. Just wish 343i would fix everything else a lot faster then they are planning to.

Love the game! Was happy to get back on the XBOX train as I had the originals and went to PlayStation cause most people had it, and I regret it. Master Chief is the way to go!

Best Halo since probably 3. Story is great and is a great hybrid of open world/linear progression. I do wish there was more hidden stuff in the large map. Although there are plenty of missions/side missions to keep you occupied for hours. Multiplayer leaves a lot to be desired although it will continue to get better, but will take time.

I got the game and steel book on a great sale. Even though this game is available with game pass ultimate, I like having physical copies. If you can snag it for $20 or so, take it
