Four Games! Over a hundred multiplayer maps!! Re-mastered graphics!!! Great value for $60. They just need to work on the server issues.

Purchased the pre-order from Best Buy and I am not disappointed at all. In store pick-up was easy and fast. Recommend the game to any Halo fan as this contains all 4 Halo games redone in stunning Xbox One next-gen graphics complete with all the multiplayer maps from each. Definitely a collector's item. Includes the new TV series Halo Nightfall along with access to Halo 5 beta. Best Buy's knowledgable staff are gamers like myself who know how to recognize great and memorable games when they come along.

Great collection of games for a great price. Perfect title to fit many tastes for Single Player, Co-Op or Multiplayer with an active community. Dollar for dollar this is one of the best deals in gaming with a lot of TLC put into the presentation. You get Halo 1-4 with the option to also download (for additional fee) Halo ODST and the upcoming release of Halo Reach (Pricing info not yet available).

Pros: You get 4 Halo games in one with DLC, improved frame rates, and graphics. Halo 4 is the best out of the bunch in SP and MP. Halo 2 Anniversary Edition is not bad but definitely not the strongest entry into the series. Cons: Frame rates! While yes Halo MCC tries to run at 60 FPS, it just can't maintain that rate when the action heats up. Halo 4 is the best looking, and the worst performing Halo game in this collection. It maintains 50 FPS plus in MP, but SP I've seen it become a slide show.

Despite the recent issues with the multiplayer side, which are currently being worked on. Having the four games of Halo on one disc made for the Xbox One is a great deal. Just having the Halo 2 anniversary game which plays in 1080p @60fps and seeing how smooth it is, is worth the cost of the game. As you can see I'm a fan of the game but being able to play all 4 of the games on one console, online and against my friends makes this a great addition to my game library and for your library too.

Not going to lie, I knew my best bud was a huge Halo fan and knew he would love this game because it had the Anniversary's of Combat Evolved and its sequel. But I didn't think I would end up loving it as well! I played it with him and we HAD to complete Halo 2's storyline. They all look awesome, especially 2, with a few "meh" things to say about 3 but, hey, there's four games for the price of one! This is definitely a must buy if you love Halo or want someone to join the Halo bandwagon!

If your a halo fan this you have to own this! Has all 4 halo games and the remastered versions of halo 1 and 2 are just awesome, especially when u switch back to the original look and then back the remastered and you see the amazing difference. There are so many multiplayer things u can do and so many options, great to have when u and some friends just want to shoot up some aliens. Just wish Halo Reach was included but think I'm going to download that eventually.

Excellent value for money, and opportunity to own all Halo titles (except ODST and Reach) on Xbox One. I bought this primarily for the remake of Halo 2, access to Nightfall and Halo 5 matchmaking Beta. If anyone is into achievements, it offers a total of 4,000 points across all games. If you've played all Halo games, don't expect to see anything extra as far as actual gameplay besides the improved visuals for Halo 2. Halo 2 visuals are significantly improved, and all the cinematically have been remade. They are excellent quality, add to the overall Halo experience, and can be viewed at anytime via the Halo channel. Multiplayer offers a wealth of armor sets, but does not allow one to mix and match between actual armor pieces. It does include armor sets that were previously exclusives or achievements for prior Halo games Matchmaking was a disappointment, and it would take several minutes to find a game, and when I did, the teams were not equal. Microsoft attempted to apply a fix, and this did not make any difference to when I tried it. It offers all Halo multiplayer maps, which is amazing, but I don't know how often will get to play all of them. Remastered maps look great! Gun goose is fun to tool around on!!! I have heard about more updates to matchmaking, but I have already lost interest in playing Halo online. Overall I would rank the Master Chief Collection a 5, but it was let down by matchmaking delays. It is excellent value, but make sure that you know what to expect when you try matchmaking.

Great collection of Halo games. A must have for any Halo fan! The original Xbox games halo 1 & 2 are remastered but you can toggle between original graphics and remastered which is cool. I enjoy the story modes on the game. Essentially it comes with five different games all in one! I can not recommend it enough!

This game was a good introduction to Halo for me. In game you can toggle orignal graphics and remastered graphics to see how much the maps have improved from originals. There are plenty of campaign missions to learn the story of Master Chief and an option to buy Halo ODST for an additional $5. Online multiplayer is supported for this game and I was surprised to see that it still gets monthly updates.

This has all 4 Halo games with there original multiplayer, with over 100 maps and 6 remasterd maps. The campaign has 50 hour-long missions that are all 4-player co-op. It is the best game you could buy.

Let me start off by saying, that this is a truly amazingly game that is offered at such a great price (4 games in 1)!! This is a really great way for someone who has never been exposed to the Halo series to really get in there and experience the whole story from beginning to end. I am really happy that they remade this game; it brings back a lot of memories from when the first games were released. This is a must buy for anyone who owns an Xbox One or is a Halo fan!

Yes, the matchmaking at launch has been a little wonky, but it is unfair to grade the whole game and experience based on that. We all know they will eventually fix these issues. My 5 stars comes from the overall value of this game. You get 4 great campaigns, tons of multiplayer, Forge (map editor), custom games, theater mode. The whole thing is just beautiful. And if you're like me, the amount of nostalgia is through the roof. Highly recommend for old fans and new.

Halo C.E. is one of the games that drew me to the first Xbox and I stayed hooked on the rest of the series. While this collection is still being supported and improved by Microsoft it is still a great buy for the single player content. These games changed how 1st person shooters were developed and played. The Cortana story arc remains one of my favorites in my gaming history and I look forward to seeing what comes next in the Halo universe.

This Master Chief Collection brings me back many memories, like many, since release of the original Xbox, easily its benchmark title. For newcomers, it's a great way to experience an icon of the original FPS that evolved to its great success now and in the future. With the game's remastered series and delivered on the nex-gen console, Halo MCC is a must have for fans!

If you've been a fan of Halo for most of your adult life, and even growing up, this a great collection. I wouldn't say that the multiplayer is all that enjoyable, though. The campaigns hold up really well, and they're remastered. You have Halo 1, 2, 3, and 4 to look forward to with the Campaigns. ODST and Reach are not included, but you can purchase it separately. They just aren't very good Halo games in my opinion, so I don't feel bad that they are left out.

I’ve been playing Halo since Halo 1 came out. I got to play against Team Boss in Halo 2. Love Halo! I enjoyed the campaign on my new xbox one x 2k20 edition. Ahh loving those paint specs. But anyways Halo has been one of the loves of my life. I really enjoy the multilplayer. Can’t wait for the next Halo on the next gen xbox. See you guys online!

Halo 2 Anniversary is very impressive. The touch ups to H3 and H4 are also very welcomed. Access to Halo 5 beta and Nightfall will be great. You have access to all four campaigns which is what most everyone is probably playing right now since the multi-player is currently plagued with issues. Long wait times, lag, dropped connections, etc. 343 has removed a bunch of game types from the matchmaking Playlist while they try to fix the issues. Game would be 5 stars if matchmaking was working!

I had never played Halo at all before and when I bought my new Xbox one s, I thought I needed to catch-up. This is an awesome way to jump right in and learn all about Halo and it's story and also to check out the multiplayer. It's been amazing to finally play these guys and some have been upgraded to take advantage of the advance in hardware from Xbox to Xbox 360 to finally the Xbox one. A solid buy at a solid price!
