Customers frequently mention the amazing graphics and super duper fun multiplayer. The price, multiple campaigns, creative story, awesome-looking remasters, and tons of additional content are also well-received. However, some customers have noted that the online experience needs improvement and that there are still some bugs and lag. Finally, a few customers have pointed out the large download size.

What a great compilation. You get four campaigns - Halo CE, Halo 2 CE, Halo 3, and Halo 4. They've fixed the matchmaking finally so the game is insane value for the price. If only more people were to return to multiplayer, though. While many have long since moved on to newer games, with the recent sales from the Holiday season, there may have been an uptick in players. I definitely recommend this to everyone and anyone.

Halo is my favorite game franchise so when this was announced I was jumping for joy. Just about every Halo game is included in this collection and the remastered versions are amazing. It's fun to switch between the original and remastered versions too and see how far technology has come since the first game's release. Online multiplayer is a blast too as you can play newer maps or older. This is a must buy for any fan of Halo.

This is a great collection to play in preparation for the release of Halo 5. You get Halo 1-4. It is a bit odd getting used to the older controls of the original Halo after having played so many other first person shooters that offer greater control but the game is still incredible. You can also switch between the original and updated graphics for a bit of nostalgia and just to see how much effort they put into upgrading the game.

Same games, but done a lot prettier. Halo CE is the same as the remake that came out last year for the 360 so no changes there. Halo 2 on the other hand is Jaw dropping how clean the graphics look during the cut scenes. That alone would have me spending $60. Now put in Halo 3 & 4 Plus all of the multiplayer maps from 1-4 and you have your self a great deal. If you are a fan of the series and own the xbox one, this is a must buy!

It good for those that haven't gotten to play halo on xbox or the xbox 360, so you get 4 games with most of their original multiplayer and the 7 remaster multiplayer maps for the halo 2 anniversary multiplayer. The campaign for all game are great though word of warning Halo 2 on Heroic is quite challenging and legendary is almost near impossible solo, and normal is not easy in the sence that you can beat it without dying.

This collection contains a ton of content on a single disc, and if you're a fan of the franchise (or maybe want to find out if you are), then you should definitely give this game a shot. Halo is the reason I bought an original Xbox, and I've played almost every FPS Halo game since, but I generally only played the single player campaigns. In the last several years I've become good friends with some people who got me into competitive online shooters, and they insisted what a classic experience Halo 2 online was. While I didn't have the nostalgic fondness that they did, it was still an enjoyable experience...when it worked. Connection issues plagued the first several weeks, tarnishing the experience for me (and a lot of other people). I think they've since fixed the majority of the issues, but to be honest I haven't played much since. Halo campaign via co-op is great, and Halo itself is a key milestone in gaming history, but the first few games do feel dated making Halo 4 the freshest experience to me. The revamped textures for the original Halo are nice, but they just don't hold a candle to what's available now. Most of my time lately is spent with Bungie's latest shooter, Destiny, but I'll be holding on to this game for now, just in case I have the urge to take a stroll down memory lane...

Halo at its finest by combining the first four games plus offering reach and ODST as paid-for DLC options. The fact that 343 continues to provide updates years later has helped the game improve with bug fixes and new features.

This game had a rocky start due to online problem but as of writing this review, most of the kinks are ironed out and the game is pretty awesome. The single player campaigns are the same ones you already love but Halo 1 and 2 have been remastered with new HD graphics. There are 4 main game campaigns included and an option to purchase the Halo 3: ODST campaign for just $5. Its a great deal for Halo fans and Xbox One owners.

This brings together all four numbered halo games in a great package. It allows you to play the whole of Master chiefs story in one game. You can jump between any level at any time and play the games how you want to. It also collects every multiplayer map from these games. The online is currently not performing very well however with issues matchmaking so if that is your main point of focus you may want to hold off until they fix it.

So it's day 4 of halo MCC and the matchmaking is still a terrible mess. It has issues connecting, and will sit for upwards of 10 minutes if you let it without finding a match. When you get in a match, the games are fantastic. Every game runs at a buttery 60fps and breathes new life into the franchise. It had a ton of different playlists to choose from to matchmake within, but 343 removed a good portion of those to encourage more frequent matches by not dispersing the players across more playlists. A fix will be coming out the week of Nov 17 for matchmaking, so until then, the matchmaking is a pain in the butt. The campaigns are fantastic and Halo CE and Halo 2A are both added a lot of polish to old classics. In CE, you can hit the back button and switch between the original visuals and the revamped visuals instantly, in game and it really reminds me how flat the textures were so long ago that my memory hazed over. They added terminals to every halo game and added campaign, multiplayer, and campaign playlist achievements, for every Halo. That's a TON of achievements to do. They did that along with title and emblem unlocks akin to Call of Duty for completing a multitude of challenges in-game or in matchmaking. All in all, a ton of extra features, a ton of polish, a bunch of work put into all the games, multiplayer has some growing pains, but will be ironed out soon enough. Gives us time to enjoy the campaigns anyways.

I bought this game to relieve old memories of playing the original Halo games on the Xbox and Xbox 360. the game had a lot of issues when it first launched but now the game works great. It is a great deal that you pay 1 single price and you are getting 4 games, not just single player but also multiplayer. if you love Halo you must get this game no questions asked. Highly recommended!

While only halo 1 and 2 are remade and 3 and 4 are ports, there is enough here to warrant a purchase for the new systems. The games look great and it seems like the multiplayer stuff has been or is being fixed to the point where it's no longer an issue. Still great halo single player and, if you're like me, the single player Makes you nostalgic for the days of old. Great set of games.

    The Great Journey

Halo MCC is a fantastic game featuring the campaigns of all numbered Halo games(1-4) and the multiplayer maps from those games, as well as some remastered ones. Halo 1 is a classic for a reason and the campaign plays the exact same as it did 13 years ago. It also was remastered 3 years ago and the graphics can be switched from classic to remastered in an instant. Halo 2 is the focus of this collection as it was remastered for this collection, and the cutscenes were made by Blur a studio that's proven itself in making amazing cinematics. Halo 2 Anniversary can also be switched from classic to remastered and the difference is astounding. Halo 3, besides being upped to 1080p 60 fps, is the same game with no new graphics, and while it is the worst looking in this package, it still looks great and plays like a dream. Halo 4 is the newest Halo in the game and while it came out 2 years ago it looks like a next gen game and will prepare you for Halo 5 arriving next year. This collection also comes with multiplayer from the 4 games but sadly at the time of this review there are multiple issues including 20 minute wait times to find a match, freezing, and more. But 343 industries are hard at work and won't stop until it is fixed. But still you have 4 campaigns, multiplayer(soon), custom games, forge, and the Halo Channel with Halo Nightfall included.

Halo 1-4, with a fantastic graphics upgrade for Halo 2. A great interface greets the player when booting up the game. One can jump right into a Halo game, use a playlist, or play over 100 multiplayer maps. Each of the Halo games also includes Forge, so players can make their own multiplayer maps. Add in robust customization features, and you have the ultimate Halo package!

I received this game and was extremely excited about it. The campaign mode is good, though the graphics on Combat Evolved still seem to be the same as the original instead of the Anniversary Edition. But gameplay is still good. Multiplayer is a let down though. You can't really pick your game type, options are limited, and there's next to no game type from Halo4. Still a good game for the campaign.

Halo 1-3 are some of the best FPS games of all time. The stories and online multiplayer are literally staples of the genre. All are updated and look great. No bugs or glitches. I highly recommend to old fans and to people new to Halo. I played the originals and this brings back great memories.
