What a collection! All four halo master chief games on one blu Ray disc for the price of one game is quite the deal in my book. Halo 1 and 2 are remastered with updated graphics, and 3 and 4 already look great on their own. My only gripe is for those who bought the game on launch are experiencing online server issues but I am confident these issues will be resolved.

This is the perfect game for those beginning to get into the Halo series and those who are already die hard fans of the series. All of the games are on par with adding variety of control functions to fit your fps gameplay needs. The graphics are updated to fit the Xbox one console in contrast to the past gen systems but, don't jump into the gameplay expecting something visually stunning. However, you can press the select button during gameplay and cutscenes to see the difference in the graphics from the original Halo games to the current Xbox one versions. The overall gameplay is pretty great and can be very challenging as the AI appears a bit more smarter than used in the original games. The only reason I gave this game 4 stars is because if you have played the original games on previous gen consoles you might find yourself getting bored from time to time while taking a trip down memory lane. Another let down was the updated soundtracks to the series. They seem kind of sub par compared to the original but that is my own bias. For example, on Halo 2 there is a song called "Follow" by Incubus that is used during the Arbiter flight gameplay. The updated bgm is so bland that you have to switch to the original game just to hear the original song. However, do not let this deter you from making this purchase. Overall, it is a great game with many great additions to the storyline within the Halo franchise.

6 games in 1! A must have collection for Halo fans and a great introduction to new players. The games play great and even the older games look fantastic. There is a reason why this has become such a beloved franchise.

Bought this on launch and its currently experiencing issues with online matchmaking so I cant review multiplayer. The single player campaigns of all the Halo games are as you remember them only at 60 frames per second and 1080p. It plays really well, although the mechanics do sometimes feel dated. If you're a Halo fan then you already want this. The new cut scenes in Halo 2 are gorgeous.

If you love the Halo franchise as much as I do then this game is for you. Even if you haven't played Halo before, I suggest you try this out. It has all the Halo games in one. Just playing multiplayer is so fun because it brings back so many fun memories and it looks 100 times better than the original Halo games. What are you waiting for? Buy this now! Lol

This game is amazing. The fact that I get to relive my younger years with halo 1 2 and 3 in 1080p quality at 60fps is just awesomesauce. Definitely Recommend this game to any halo fan. But the server issues and glitches in matchmaking are a bit of an annoyance. Thankfully the developers of this game are owning up to it. They're constantly running updates to fix online multiplayer.

This collection is perfect for both people unfamiliar with the Halo franchise and avid fans. It includes Halo 1-4, and the Halo 2 remaster is spectacular. As many Halo fans will tell you, Halo 2 was the pinnacle of the series' multiplayer. It would be 5 stars, except for persisting multiplayer issues. 343 and Microsoft have been working to get it patched as quickly as possible.

The big draw here is Halo 2, which like the Anniversary Edition of Halo on Xbox 360, has been completely remastered in High Definition. Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition, and Halo 3 and 4 are just ported over from their 360 versions. If you are new to the series, or just want to experience Halo 2 in its remastered form, you'll want to get this.

Being a big fan of the Halo series lead me to buying Halo: The Master Chief Collection. They did an excellent job of remastering the classic series from Halo 1-4. Integrating the new Xbox One graphics really make the game play pop. While it's practically the same story lines that we have all come to love, the remastering of the whole game still sucks you in as if it's nothing you've seen before. While 343 Industries did a great job cleaning up and updating the campaign mode, they unfortunately dropped the ball when it came to online game play. From Day 1, the Halo servers have been experiencing issues that involved matchmaking. While they're working hard on fixing the issue, I will stand by my 3 Star rating due to the potential of the game that still needs to be reached. I'm sure that this game will be an easy 5 stars once a patch clears such errors and the Halo 5 preview is also available. But until then, this game should be brought strictly for avid fans who would want to relive the older games that fit within the Xbox One standards.

I've been a huge Halo fan since the first one came out on the original xbox, and this collection is amazing and a great tribute to the original games from Bungie while giving them updated graphics and rebooting their multiplayer. Would definitely recommend this game to anybody that wants to reminisce their childhood when they played Halo

Although I was a little disappointed with the multiplayer experience (which did not matter much for me), it was amazing to see all 4 halos in a single menu. The remastered Halo 2 campaign was amazing. I definitely recommend this for any longtime Halo fans or any new ones.

Good game. As everyone says it gives you the catch up on the first four games and their campaigns. The first 3 games I believe have been remastered with added textures and details. The games play well except when the voice audio cuts out for some reason. I haven't played multiplayer yet but I'm sure it's good.good buy for the money.

I started replaying the first Halo game and I am amazed at the improved graphics. For comparison, I used my original copy of the game in a XB360 I still have. What a difference. Considering this comes with H1, H2, H3, H3 ODST, and H4 all for under $30, it's a great value no matter what.

The Halo Collection is an all around amazing if you are a very big halo fan. This game has all of the Halos Remastered onto 1 game with the next gen graphics. The Multiplayer and co-op is very good but there can be a few issues connecting to a game every once and a while. This game has everything to offer in the entire Halo series.

Great deal and worth playing again I cant believe how good these games still look and play and even slightly better on Xboxone they seemed to touch up the graphics a bit hear and there. its a shame Halo 4 is not a Bungie game just saying also no Halo REACH here;(but my only gripes... worth getting don't delay..

This game includes the first four games in the Halo series in addition to multiplayer maps unique to each game. Considering all the contents and the improved graphics and high quality videos in Halo 1 and 2, this is a great value. I've been enjoying playing through/reliving the whole series (countless hours of campaign gameplay) again on xbox's newest console.

When the game was released, online play was nearly useless. After a lot of hard work by 343, the multiplayer is just about where it was promised to be! What a massive undertaking this game was. I can't believe they included every map! The campaigns are all there, each having their own level of attention paid to them. Even 2007's Halo 3 looks pretty good upscaled!

The halo franchise at it's best, replay the campaign from Halo 1-3 with revamped graphics in one nice package. The only downside is the download/install file is HUGE. Can still get a fun multiplayer room going with a group of friends and can use whichever control scheme you prefer.

Halo MLC is all that any fan of Halo could ask for, with all 4 primary Halo games and their Multiplayer maps in one package, with updated visuals and a slick interface and scoring system. That said, Multiplayer is still very buggy a few days after launch and needs patching. I believe 343 will fix this, but it is disappointing they shipped the game in this state.

I wish that this came out and was perfect but the truth is they really dropped the ball on the multiplayer. It was impossible to find matches when it was released though I've had better luck the last few times I've tried. Hopefully people will continue to try playing and not abandon it. Seeing the Halo games running at 1080p at 60fps is really great though!
