    This dehydrator is great. Takes up small amount of counter space. The fruit roll up insert is great too. Made apple cinnamon roll ups from applesauce.

    I was apprehensive at first about this purchase because of the reviews about noise.However, the noise levels are quite acceptable. It operates at an acceptable level

    My dehydrator broke after speaking to the manufacturer I decided I will not go buy from that manufacturer again. I saw the reviews and pulled the plug. I use my dehydrator for chicken jerky for my dogs so about every two weeks I break out the machine. Works great and the built in timer is a plus.

    It's a good dehydrator, especially at this price. I use it for drying herbs from my garden and there's a learning curve to beat, even with the manual. But it's worth the effort.

    This worked great at first and we used it around 6 times. The most recent time it stopped blowing hot air and the screen showed an "er" message. Unfortunately the manual doesn't address the error message and customer service is backlogged at Hamilton Beach. We'll have to return it.

    This is a great product from Hamilton Beach. The size is perfect, square shape fits better on the counter top, 5 trays enough to dry lots of food, and dried food has a great quality from this device. This only issue for me is the fan's noise, but I read most (if not all) dehydrators in the market are pretty loud.

    This is my first dehydrator so I may not be the best person to judge it but, anyway here goes: it heats up quickly: the fan could be a bit quieter: it's easy clean up (big plus!) and you have to be careful about the slight gaps when loading the shelves and/ or putting on the lid. I'd buy it again.
