Purchased this one for our son. I have two others exactly like this one. Like that it has timers to cook foods. The functioms are easy and great. The only negative is the outside needs a better quality body. Feels a little flimsy. BUT, the better quality ones available didnt have timers! After cooking time, it remains warm. Makes it easy to set before bed or on a trip to the store.

So far I've used only the high setting, but it has worked very well for stew, chili, and roast with veggies. Some reviewers mentioned the outside surface gets hot. It does, but that's not unusual for a slow cooker. I don't love the controls, since it only shows hours left in even numbers, ie 2 hrs left, 4 hrs left, etc. Not a big problem though. It does swap to warm at the end of your selected low or high temp time setting. I'm happy with the performance.

The only issue I have with it is that the crock pot easily stains. Using 1/4 cup of baking soda in boiling water reduces the staining.
